Stop 1: Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal

We Start our journey at the picturesque Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal, a gateway to Vancouver Island. Enjoy the coastal views as you board the ferry.

Stop 2: Ferry ride across the Strait of Georgia

Relax and take in the scenic beauty during your ferry ride across the Strait of Georgia, a captivating waterway between the mainland and Vancouver Island.

Stop 3: Nanaimo

Next, you arrive at the city of Nanaimo, known for its vibrant waterfront. Here we can stop in the Old City Quarter for a walk around through the old Heritage buildings and quaint shops downtown.

Stop 4: Old County Market, Coombs

Visit the Old Country Market in Coombs, famous for its quirky rooftop goats and a variety of local and international goods. Don’t forget to try the famous ice cream!

Stop 5: Larry Lake Viewpoint

Take a break at the Larry Lake Viewpoint, offering stunning vistas of the surrounding landscapes, and providing a serene pause on your journey.

Stop 6: The Ucluelet Harbour.

Ucluelet’s Small Craft Harbour is the West Coast’s most comprehensive marine facility. This is a classic example of an actual working harbour, situated on the outskirts of Barkley Sound. It is a destination in its own right.

Stop 7: Wild Pacific Trail, Ucluelet.

The Wild Pacific Trail follows 4.4km of the Pacific Ocean coastline of Ucluelet, offering stunning views of the rugged rocky coast and thundering waves.

Stop 8: Tofino

One of Canada’s most westerly towns, Tofino is a world-renowned surf town, and it has become a culinary destination for its fresh-off-the-boat seafood. It’s also known for the most incredible sunsets.

Now you will be free to roam and experience this town’s culinary delights by yourself and maybe take in the sunset on a seaside patio as we settle into a Hotel. The Hotel for the night could be in either Tofino or Ucluelet (as per availability).
Day 2 Ucluelet & Tofino

Ucluelet & Tofino

Wake up on the beautiful West Coast of Vancouver Island with the open ocean lapping at your doorstep. Take in the sunrise and enjoy some more of this quaint little surf town.

We will meet up afterwards to start exploring the area.

Stop 1: Today’s tour schedule is completely free, allowing you to explore at your own pace. While there are no official activities planned, here are some optional activities you can consider:

1.Water activities like kayaking or surfing.

2.Whale watching

3.Take a stroll through the charming town center, discovering hidden gems.

4.Enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the nearby parks and hiking trails.

Stop 1: Long Beach

Begin your journey by enjoying the serene beauty of Long Beach once more. Take a leisurely walk along the sandy shores and savour the coastal atmosphere.

Stop 2: Kennedy Lake Provincial Park

Pause for a moment at Kennedy Lake Provincial Park, where you can admire the pristine surroundings from the comfort of your vehicle as you continue your scenic drive.

Stop 3: Port Alberni

This little town boasts a magnificent, deep-sea port at the head of the Alberni Inlet opening into Barkley Sound and the Pacific Ocean. Surrounded by mountains, freshwater lakes and streams, the area is wildly popular for its breathtaking scenery.

Stop 4: Nanaimo Harbour

Looking out across the Salish Sea towards the Coastal Mountains, the harbour is the central focus of Nanaimo. We will take some time to explore this area and more of the coastal shoreline.

Stop 5: Vancouver

As you return to Vancouver, reminisce about your coastal adventure and the beautiful sights you’ve witnessed. Thus bringing your memorable journey to a close.
