We would like to clarify that this is NOT a group/ coach tour. The plan will be only for independent travel for your party. Although you may be joining groups for certain sightseeing activities (if mentioned in the itinerary) and for your walking tour, overall this is not a coach tour (in which everything is managed from airport to airport). Please note that for all sightseeings, the activity starts from a meeting point. You are expected to reach the meeting point on your own. We hope that is okay with you. Today visit the Royal Alcázar of Seville, and marvel at this stunning medieval Islamic palace for which you will be given an entry ticket. Walk around and admire the stunning architecture and the beautiful gardens.

Originally developed as a fort for the Cordoban governors of Seville in 913, the Royal Alcázar of Seville is an amazing fusion of Christian and Moorish architecture. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, and it has been renovated numerous times over the 11 centuries since its creation.

Learn about how the Christian king Fernando III moved into the Alcázar when he captured Seville in 1248 and how several monarchs used the palace as their main residence. Also, discover Alcázar’s role as a filming location for the Game of Thrones TV series.

Later in the evening, experience the thrilling dance of a live flamenco performance at a brilliant theater in Seville. Watch 6 world-class performers weave a tale of passion through instrumentals, singing, and dancing, and immerse yourself in Andalusian culture.

Make your own way to the Teatro Flamenco Sevilla theater and settle down into your seat to get ready for the show, or arrive slightly earlier to enjoy some drinks at the bar.

Listen to the soft melody of guitars beginning the live performance as the rhythm starts to flow. Admire the colorful outfits of the dancers as they twirl upon the stage until the flamenco reaches its finale. Reservations for the Flamenco Show are included.

This day depart from Seville and travel to the city of Granada to take a tour of the historic Alhambra, which is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its cultural importance and architectural beauty. Granada’s Alhambra is the most visited monument in Spain. You can also visit the Generalife and Nazaries palaces and the Alcazaba and its unique gardens. Marvel at the fortifications of the Alcazaba (citadel), built to protect the city’s post-Roman districts, including the Moorish suburb of "El Albayzín." Admire the beauty of the Nasrid Palaces and Generalife, the summer pleasure gardens of the Emir.

Also go to the neighborhood of Albaycin. From here you’ll have outstanding views of the Alhambra and the city of Granada. In the Albaycin neighborhood you’ll discover a labyrinth of small streets, secret gardens of the Cármenes and the cave-houses that were the birthplace of Grenadian flamenco. This is a self guided tour, you will be provided with return train/bus tickets to Granada and entry tickets to Alhambra but you will have to reach the meeting point on your own. Return to Seville at the end of your historical adventure.
