Once you’re here, our driver will greet you and take you to your booked accommodation in Arusha city. On the way, we’ll make a stop to enjoy the stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro. If you get here early, why not take a guided tour to explore Arusha city?

The guided city tour will lead you to historical sites such as the Uhuru Monument, the local market, Masaai Market, and an art gallery—all while you shop for your safari essentials.

Day 2 Arusha To Tarangire Park - Eileen’S Trees Inn

After enjoying delicious breakfast in the morning, we will begin our journey to Tarangire National Park, with an approximate 1 hour 30 minutes drive to the park gate. Upon completing the permit check-in, we will embark on a wildlife exploration, spotting out animals such as lions and herds of elephants. In the late afternoon, we will stop for a hot lunch at a designated picnic site within the park. After lunch, the game drive will continue until the late afternoon, before we head to our accommodation in Karatu for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater To Central Serengeti - Kontik Tented Camp

At 6:45, after having breakfast, you drive to Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll learn why magical Ngorongoro is unlike anywhere else in Africa. Cloud forests encircle the crater rim, and the view out across the caldera of this former volcano – quite apart from the altitude – will leave you gasping for air. Your drive down a steep trail carries you onto the crater floor where a unique wildlife offering is added to the sheer beauty of the experience. You’ll share the sunken ecosystem of the crater floor with hyenas, lions, elephants, black rhinos and hippos. An ecosystem that has formed in the crater in the millennia since the volcano wrought its terrible fury upon the land. It could just be one of your best safari days ever.

At 14:00, proceed to Central Serengeti for dinner and overnight

It’s important to note that during this time of the year, the animals are typically still in the central area of the Serengeti, gradually making their way towards the western Serengeti. So we’re advice not to go the Northern Serengeti this time of the year, as there is no a lot of animals up there

After morning breakfast you enjoy morning game drive in Serengeti after picnic lunch, drive to Karatu town for dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Trees Inn. When you explore the Central Serengeti, you’re enjoying one of the best wildlife destinations in northern Tanzania. Here you’ll find the big populations of wildlife for which the Serengeti is famous. You’ll also have a good chance of seeing big cats. This area has plenty of northern Tanzania’s iconic acacia trees, as well as seemingly endless Serengeti horizons.

After breakfast you drive to Lake Manayara with picnic lunch. Lake Manyara is one of the most underestimated national parks in Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Everything you’ll see here is on a different scale, at once compact (this is one of the narrowest parks in Africa) and epic (the Rift Valley escarpment towers over Lake Manyara’s western boundary). You’ll see plenty of baboons and elephants in the park’s thick evergreen forest, and watch for the tree-climbing lions that have become famous throughout Africa. Thanks to the proximity of lake, forest and rock walls, the birdlife will also tease out your inner birder – don’t forget your binoculars.
