Itinerary of your trip Tanzania Explorer - 5 Days Camping Safari

  • Day 1 Lake Manyara National Park
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Lake Manyara National Park

This park is truly breathtaking, with its luscious acacia forest, giant figs, and mahogany trees. Here you can find plenty of wildlife, including giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a large number of buffaloes. The lake is also the habitat for lots of hippos!

The most distinctive characteristics of this national park are the tree-climbing lions, flamingos in the lakeshore, as well as the Ground Hornbill and the Crested Eagle. You will have many photo opportunities, as its landscapes are indescribable and with abundant wildlife!

We recommend some extra activities, such as a bike tour or a boat excursion. After this immersion in the wild, drive to the selected campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 2 Serengeti National Park
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Serengeti National Park

After an invigorating breakfast, youโ€™ll go on an early morning game drive, which is when the animals are most active. Then you will leave to Serengeti National Park with a game drive and picnic lunch on the way. This park is home to the Great Migration, when over 1.5 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and all kinds of antelopes start their ever-moving journey. And with such a large number of animals, itโ€™s only expectable to observe many big cats and other large predators, attracted to their prey. So take this opportunity to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Many other smaller animals reside here too, not to mention over 500 species of birds.

After this immersion in the wild, drive to the selected campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight.

You will wake up very early in order to do a morning game drive, which will allow you to witness the most beautiful sunrise of your life. Then leave to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with picnic lunch on the way. Ngorongoro Crater is the worldโ€™s largest unbroken caldera, recognized as one of the wonders of the Natural World. Here inhabit almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. And itโ€™s also one of the few places in the whole continent where you can spot the Black Rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, a lake full of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. Due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil, the elephants found there are the largest in the world!
