You’ll love Sesriem because of where it is: from here you enter Sossusvlei, and the Sossusvlei sand dunes and Naukluft Mountains can be seen from all over town. Apart from its location, the best thing about being here is the feeling of being in the heart of the Namib Desert. It’s a wonderfully quiet place, with sandy side streets and hotels strung out into the desert.
