The safety of our guests and staff is a top priority and we are monitoring the evolving Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation closely. All of our guides are fully vaccinated to protect their safety and the safety of all visitors. We are taking recommended prevention and response measures, including: Our Tour Guides will be wearing a mask throughout the duration of the tour and wearing gloves when sanitizing, taking temperatures, opening/closing doors, and providing sanitizer to guests. Guides will take their temperatures frequently to monitor for fever and will not work if they are sick. After an illness, a guide can return to work after receiving a negative test for COVID-19 or having no fever for 14 days. Before leaving our dispatch, each Tour Guide will ensure that all surfaces in the vehicle are properly sanitized and wiped down. Prior to any guest entering the vehicle at their pickup location our Tour Guide will use a non-contact thermometer to ensure that anyone with a fever or anyone travelling with others who have a fever (temperature must be less than 100.4ºF (38.0ºC)) do not enter the vehicle. The front seat will be off-limits to guests. In the event that a guest jeopardizes the health and safety of another guest, a guide, or a partner employee or customer (e.g. refuses to wear a mask, refuses to abide by social distancing guidelines, etc.), they will be removed from the tour, and no refund will be issued. During the excursion our Tour Guides will be the only individuals to open and close the doors of the vehicle. Guests will wear a mask for the duration of the tour, except in locations where masks are not required. Guests are required to supply their own masks. Guests without masks will not be allowed to take the tour and no refund will be given. Guests under the age of 5 or who are medically compromised will not be required to wear a mask per CDC guidelines. Children ages 5 and over are required to wear a face covering. Guests will refrain from physical contact with our guide, other guests not in their party, partner staff, or other patrons while maintaining 6-foot social distancing guidelines. At each stop when guests exit the vehicle our Tour Guide will use sanitary wipes to disinfect commonly touched areas inside the vehicle. Upon getting back into the vehicle our Tour Guide will provide hand sanitizer or wipes for each customer. At the end of each tour all surfaces inside the vehicle will be sanitized and wiped down. We will limit the number of guests on our tours to 8 people. We are expanding our communications about our refund policy to ensure anyone who is not feeling well will receive a full refund for the tour if cancelled. Our leadership team will continue to actively monitor the recommendations from the CDC, WHO, and OHA and implement best-practices accordingly. When you place your reservation we collect your name, email address, phone number, and home address so that if we receive notification that a guest has tested positive for COVID-19 we can contact all other guests that were on that tour. As always, we will communicate clearly and directly about our plans and activities to continue to offer our tours in the safest possible environment.

Our representative will warmly receive you with a welcome note at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. You will travel to Dhulikhel Mount Resort situated 30 kilometers away from the airport. You can spend this day resting at your hotel. Please make a note that the itinerary on this day depends upon your arrival time. If you arrive before 14:00 Hrs, you will stay at Dwarika Hotel, Dhulikhel otherwise Hyatt Regency Hotel, Kathmandu.

The day starts with a delicious local breakfast. Then we take off to Syangboche, Solukhumbu, in an hour-long helicopter flight. From there, you can see the clear view of Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Amadablam, and other peaks like Tawche, Nangbala, Tashi Lhaptsa, etc. This day is for acclimatization, as you will be visiting higher altitudes in the following days. On the very day, you will explore Sherpa villages (Khude and Khumjung) and possibly see the wildlife and vegetation found in Sagarmatha National Park.

After breakfast at Everest View Hotel, Syangboche, we then fly to Gokyo valley. In Gokyo valley, there are 19 Gokyo freshwater lakes. From there, we can easily see the biggest glacier in the world, “Ngozempa Glacier.” We can also see views of Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Makalu, Mount Cho Oyu, and Nuptse from Gokyo Ri. Our next destination is Kala Patthar, which is famous for the clear view of Mount Everest and Khumbila glacier. The next destination is Khumbila Pass that lies at an altitude above 5000 meters from sea level. Finally, the day comes to an end, and you will fly back to Hyatt Regency Hotel, Kathmandu.

After breakfast in the morning, you will fly to Mustang. It lies in the north of the Annapurna Himalayan range. From there, you can see beautiful scenes of Annapurna II, III, IV, Mount Gangapurna, Gangapurna Lake, 500 years old Monastery, and Milarepa cave. From Manang, the helicopter will fly towards Thorang High Camp via Thorang La pass. This is the highest pass in the Annapurna Circuit that resides at 5416 meters from sea level.

The next destination is to the very famous Muktinath Temple. At Muktinath temple, you will see the 108 stone water taps. The belief is that anyone who takes a bath in all those taps will acquire salvation, and all of the past sins will wash away. Finally, the last destination for the day will be the most famous tourist destination in Nepal, “Pokhara.” Here, you can see the nightlife besides the Phewa lake, try different cuisines and drinks and relax at the Fishtail lodge that is located within the lake area.

Day 5: Fly From Pokhara To Rara To Bhairahawa To Chitwan

The day will start with flying towards the biggest lake of Nepal, the Rara Lake at Mugu district located in the western region of Nepal. It resides at an altitude of 2990 meters above sea level. From Rara lake, you will fly to the famous Buddhist pilgrimage “Lumbini,” which is also the birthplace of Lord Buddha. The sightseeing of Lumbini consists of stupas, monasteries made by different countries, Ashoka Pillar, Maya Devi Temple, Museum, etc. The next destination is Megauli Serai, A Taj Safari (or similar resorts) near Chitwan National Park, Chitwan. After reaching the resort and settling into your rooms, you have dinner with the cultural program. You can enjoy the delicious dinner made from local items with the indigenous cultural show performed by Tharu Community.

Day 6 Day 6: Exploring Chitwan National Park

On this day, you will explore the Chitwan National Park. From Meghauli Serai, A Taj Safari, we will arrange a wildlife jeep safari. In the safari, you will witness the unique species of animals such as One-Horned Rhino, Asian Elephant, Royal Bengal Tiger, etc. first hand. You will also see the Ghariyals resting on the banks of the river that flows through the jungle. The day’s activities come to an end after the wildlife safari. Then you will head towards the hotel for lunch. Then you will be flying back to Hyatt Regency Hotel, Kathmandu. The tour comes to a wrap as we organize a farewell dinner for you with drinks and sharing of experiences.
