Day 2: Tour Nashvilleโ€™S Famous Attractions

Between the old landmarks and new buildings, downtown Nashville is a perfect area to explore on foot with a local knowledgable guide. Our guide will walk us in the footsteps of famous musicians and patriots while telling us about the cityโ€™s history, trivia and behind-the-scenes anecdotes. Explore Nashville, from its rich history to what it made it into the famous โ€œMusic City, USAโ€ of today.  A vacation in Nashville would not be complete without visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Rhinestone costumes, musical instruments, and tear-stained lyric sheets are only the beginning, as the museum is home to the largest collection of country music artifacts in the world. Across the street in Walk of Fame Park is where music celebrities who lived, worked and played in Nashville are commemorated with sidewalk stars.  We will take a shuttle from the Country Music Hall of Fame along the famous Music Row to the historic RCA Studio B where Elvis recorded over 200 songs and Roy Orbison, Dolly Parton, Chet Atkins, Eddy Arnold and many more recorded their classics.  Hear the stories behind the legendary recordings and view some of the original instruments used.

After an optional dinner its time to Honky Tonk!!  Broadway from 2nd Ave to 5th Ave is filled with one nightclub after another and we will walk by each and every one. Stopping in a few as the music draws us in. Donโ€™t forget your ID as you wont gain admittance without one.

Day 3: Andrew Jacksonโ€™S Hermitage - Grand Ole Opry Behind Stage Tour

This morning we travel a short distance outside Nashville to the Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson. Learn about the rich life of the 7th President of the United States and explore the 1,120 acres of  his majestic property. Walk through President Jacksonโ€™s mansion, the original Hermitage home and a museum filled with historical information and artifacts, enslaved memorials and much more.

Its a short drive to the Grand Ole Opry and the Opry Mills Mall where we will have free time for  lunch and shopping before we walk across the street for our Backstage Tour.

We will join one of the insider tour guides for an exclusive backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry House and get an intimate look at the people, places and stories behind the show that made country music famous. Get up close to where legends, stars and country music are made every week live at the Grand Ole Opry, as well as Circle TV and WSM Radio. Explore American country and let our guide show us around the house. We kick things off with Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood in the Opryโ€™s brand-new immersive theater experience, then we  get to hang out backstage, hear insider stories, and even stand in the famous circle.

Tonight we head to Printers Alley, home of a nightclub district that dates back to the 1940s. We will stop for dinner (not included) before entering one of the many Blue and Jazz clubs in the Alley. The Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar, a New Orleans Themed Bar and the Skullโ€™s Rainbow Room Founded in 1948 and originally a striptease are definitely a must visit.
