Guide

All tours and transfers as per the itinerary will be conducted in a private vehicle accompanied by an English-speaking guide. For groups larger than six people, an accompanying tour guide will be provided for the entire group. Accommodations for the additional guide will be arranged separately.

You will arrive at the Muscat International Airport. Upon your arrival you proceed straight to the Immigration. Immigration & customs are quick & simple. Upon arrival at the General arrival lounge you will be met by our MTA representative who will assist you to the comforts of our vehicle to drive you the hotel. Overnight at Muscat Hotel.

Day 2 Half Day Muscat City Tour

Half Day Muscat City Tour

Morning, you will be met at the hotel for a half day City Tour. The tour begins with a visit to the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque one of the largest mosques in the Middle East. Visit Bait Al Zubair Museum. You will have photo stops at the residence of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos, the Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali. Evening you will be strolling through Muttrah Souq, where you will be bargaining for handicrafts and silver items. Overnight Muscat Hotel.

Today, immerse yourself in the historic charm of Nizwa, Oman’s cultural capital. Begin with a visit to Jabrin Castle, a 17th-century marvel renowned for its exquisite plasterwork, intricately carved doors, and beautifully painted wooden beams. Next, journey to Bahla, one of Oman’s oldest towns and the 12th-century capital of the local tribe. Although the monumental fort is currently closed for renovation, you can still enjoy a photo stop. Bahla is also celebrated for its traditional pottery. Overnight at Nizwa Hotel.

Afterward, experience the excitement of sand dune driving, offering thrills and chills for all. In the evening, enjoy a spectacular sunset from the top of the dunes. Cap off the day with a BBQ dinner amidst the sands and spend the night under the stars at Wahiba Sands.

Your journey begins at Wadi Bani Khalid, a breathtaking oasis nestled among arid mountains. Known for its clear, deep blue pools, this spot offers a perfect opportunity for a refreshing dip and a chance to savor the tranquil ambiance of the Wadi. Following your visit to the Wadi, you’ll drive to the historic fishing town of Sur, the easternmost town on the Arabian Peninsula. Sur is famous for its traditional dhow building, a practice central to Oman’s maritime heritage that dates back centuries. In times past, these dhows sailed as far as India. After an early dinner, you’ll head to the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Sanctuary. Here, under the cover of night, Green Turtles return from their long journeys to lay their eggs on the shore. Your day concludes with an overnight stay at your hotel in Ras Al Hadd.

In the morning, after breakfast, your first stop will be the ruins of Bibi Miriam’s Tomb, located in the village of Qalhat along the coastal road to Muscat (photo stop only). Next, you’ll visit the Bimah Sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with striking blue-green water at the bottom. On clear, sunny days, as you drive along the coast, you might even spot sharks in the deep blue water or fleet-footed gazelles sprinting across the landscape. Afterward, you’ll return to Muscat for an overnight stay at your hotel.
