Accommodation

All cabins are outer cabins. Those on the upper deck have an accessible balcony. All main deck cabins have large panorama windows that cannot be opened. All cabins are have an approximate size of 15 m2 (including balcony area with upper deck cabins) and are equipped with shower/WC, air-conditioning system that can be regulated separately, hair dryer (if available), safe and TV.

A day in Porto would offer plenty of opportunities to explore the town’s history, culture, and natural beauty, as well as to savor its delicious cuisine and experience its vibrant nightlife.

Portuguese cuisine is known for its fresh seafood, grilled meats, and hearty stews, so you might try some of these local specialties. Don’t forget to accompany your meal with a glass of the local wine or beer!
Day 2 Pinhao

Pinhao

We’re heading from Porto to Pinhao early in the morning. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Douro Valley during our sailing. By afternoon, we’ll arrive in Pinhao, a town known as the heart of the Douro Region with a Designation of Origin. Many Port wine estates are located here, some of which offer accommodation in a rural tourism style. The railway station building is worth mentioning, dating back to the late 19th century and covered entirely in azulejos tiles. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3 Pocinho And Vega De Terron

Pocinho And Vega De Terron

We’re cruising full speed ahead. First stop in the morning is Pocinho, a tiny village up north in Portugal. It’s famous for being the kickoff point of the Douro Line train route. What’s cool about this track is how close it runs to the river, just a stone’s throw away. Later in the day, we’ll hit up Vega de Terrón pier, where the Águeda river meets the Douro. This spot used to be a border pier back in the day, but now it’s all about tourism and business. It’s nestled in La Fregeneda, Salamanca, part of the happening Natural Park of Arribes del Duero. La Fregeneda was the final stop before crossing the border, linking Boadilla to Barca d’Alva in Portugal. From there, with a transfer in Pocinho, you could ride all the way to Porto on the Atlantic coast. Nowadays, this route’s shut down, forming part of the Arribes Greenway. If you’re up for it, you can check out Castelo Rodrigo on a side trip. Spend the night there, with dinner and a cozy sleep on board.
Day 4 Vega De Terron (Od. Barca D’Alva)

Full board on board. It is a small village that was for a century the point where the railway lines connecting Salamanca to Porto met. An iron bridge over the Águeda River allowed the railway to pass between the two countries and connected this station with the one in La Fregeneda. Barca d’Alva is located within the Natural Park of the International Douro with its impressive gorges of the Douro and Águeda rivers that serve as a natural border between Spain and Portugal. Optional: Visit to San Felices de los Gallegos and Ciudad Rodrigo (Spain). Overnight stop in the town. Night on board.
Day 5 Regua

Full board on board. In the morning, take advantage of the navigation hours to admire the wonderful views offered by the Douro Valley. At noon, we stop again in Pinhao to enjoy the best wineries in the Douro Valley. In the early afternoon, we will arrive in the town of Régua. Here in 1756 the Royal General Company of Agriculture of the Duero Vineyards was founded, which established the first region with a designation of origin for wine production in the world. In this region, the vineyards cultivated in terraces on the hillsides by the river offer beautiful panoramas that can be admired from the many viewpoints in the area, including the one of San Leonardo in Galafura and the one of San António do Loureiro. In the surroundings, the thermal station of Caldas de Moledo, located on the right bank of the Douro, has its own pier, and is a pleasant place for a relaxing holiday. Optional: visit to Lamego and Sao Joao Tarouca. Overnight stop in the town. Dinner and night on board.
Day 6 Douro De Marina

Full board on board. Early in the morning we set off from Regua towards Oporto, excited about what the journey has in store for us. After a trip full of charming landscapes, we will reach our destination just after lunch.

Once in Oporto, we will have the whole afternoon free to explore its charms. From its fascinating architecture to its picturesque cobbled streets, every corner promises to delight us with its beauty and history. We can stroll along the Duero river, visit iconic vineyards, or simply enjoy the lively atmosphere of its squares. Optional: excursion to Braga and Bom Jesus (without tickets).
Day 7 Douro Marina

Full board on board. Tomorrow at Douro Marina considered as the nautical gateway to the tourist Douro and the North region of Portugal. It is a driving force behind an innovative concept that reflects the importance of sports, leisure, well-being, and profound respect for nature. In the surroundings, there are restaurants and terraces where you can enjoy the landscape and tranquility of the Douro River.

Porto is a true delight for the eyes, a city that is capable of conquering from the first moment thanks to its slopes, its decadent houses, but with a magical atmosphere and above all thanks to the Ribeira neighborhood, from which you can admire an incredible view and the boats passing under the Dom Luis I Bridge, an iron construction made by a close collaborator of Gustave Eiffel. Optional: Porto panoramic tour. Night stopover in the town. Dinner and night on board.
