You will be met by our customer care team on arrival in Nairobi, transfer to your Nairobi hotel few kilometers from the Airport. Here you will relax before your safari experience begins the following day.
Day 2 Nairobi To Lake Naivasha

07:00hrs - After breakfast you will meet up with your guide and head off to Naivasha

Arrival in time for warm welcome you will be offered free welcome drink as you check in, then assisted to your respective rooms later head to the restaurant for hot lunch. Afternoon at leisure - you can choose optional activities at extra cost. You can go for excitingly unique boat ride excursion to the Crescent Island Wildlife Sanctuary whilst in the Lake Naivasha area today.

Admire the scenery as you take a short boat trip from the mainland to this dynamic location where you’ll have the opportunity to get in some wildlife viewing at a very relaxed pace. As there is little to no threat from some of the “Big 5” predators, the various species of wildlife, birdlife and flora live quite freely here, providing visitors with some great photo opportunities. Some of the many mammals that can be seen here include zebras, impalas, buffaloes, giraffes, and hippos. 07:30hrs - After breakfast - Your guide will drive you to Maasai Mara, en-route you will have two stops to stretch yourself and enjoy the wonderful rural scenery. Arrival in time for warm welcome you will be offered free welcome drink as you check in, then assisted to your respective rooms later head to the restaurant for hot lunch.

Zebra Plains Mara Camp is set below the Oldonyo Loip Ridge facing the open plains of the Maasai Mara. The ridge home to some of the big cats, it is a small and exclusive boutique. It has views across the game filled plains of the Maasai Mara. 16:00hrs- An afternoon game drive will rule our evening. We will get to enjoy the sighting of animals in the Mara together with the wonderful view of nature in the Mara. Maasai Mara offers among the best sunset view which camouflages with nature.

Maasai Mara is among Kenya’s most visited parks. It is famous for having the annual wildebeest migration. This is the most mysterious yet wonderful thing to view makes both the Mara and Serengeti National Park well known. The animals migrate via the Mara River in great numbers from Tanzania to Serengeti in specific time of the calendar. Maasai Mara has a variety of flora and fauna among them being members of the big five (lion, leopard. Rhino, buffalo and elephant) after the drive we will head back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

06:00hrs - You will be woken up this morning to a lovely African sunrise and at the lobby coffee, tea and cookies will be ready for you. 06:30hrs - Drive off to another adventurous safari drive in search of wild animals. The early mornings and evenings are the best times to watch the big cats hunt - the lion, the cheetah and the leopard. At these times the most glorious sunrise can be observed.

08:30hrs - Return to the camp for a full buffet breakfast, Morning at leisure.

After breakfast collect your bags and lunch and drive to south west to Isibani-Serari, Kenya and Tanzania boarder respective, you register for custom formalities and visa registration. It is time to say goodbye to our Kenyan safari guide and be introduced to our Tanzania safari guide.

You will now break for lunch and coffee in Serengeti. On arrival your arrival you start with game en-route to central Serengeti to the camp for overnight and hot dinner.
Day 5 Serengeti National Park

Waking up in the Serengeti is something real special. Sight, sounds and smells of Africa are all around you, and ahead are full couple of days of adventures in the world’s famous national park. You will spend the next two full days in the Serengeti exploring the amazing variety of mammals, birds and reptile species the park has to offer and not to forget the breathtaking scenery and sunsets.

After our picnic lunch and coffee break, we will set off again, searching for wildlife in this awe-inspiring park. Serengeti’s wonders evolve subtly as the day progresses. The myriad animals and birds are the ‘stars of the show’ and nature’s dramas can unfold at any time. Of course, but these ‘endless plains’ are home to elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah, hippo, and crocodile….the adventure has truly begun. At the end of each inspiring afternoon, we return to the camp for meal and some rest.
Day 6 Ngorongoro Crater Rim Walking Tour

Ngorongoro Crater Rim Walking Tour

After an early breakfast we set off to our morning game drive. This will be your last day in Serengeti. We may have the opportunity to spot the ‘’BIG FIVE’’ – Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino and Leopard before heading off to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way to Ngorongoro you will get to visit a Maasai Boma whereby you will get the opportunity to learn some of their culture and traditions.

This activity takes approximately 1hour. After a Maasai Boma you straightly drive to the Crater rim for the walking tour at sunset with an armed ranger. During the walking tour you will explore extinct volcanoes, landscape and wildlife in these beautiful highlands. The views and scenery are truly breathtaking and after a 2.5hours you will meet with your driver guide and drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 Ngorongoro Crater Adventure

The exciting sounds of Africa will rouse you from your sleep. We make the most of the day with a 6:30 start, heading off to Ngorongoro crater. Today you will spend full day in the park, marveling at all its wonderful wildlife with the assistance and expert knowledge of your Tai Adventures and Safari driver-guide. Ngorongoro crater is often referred to as a wonder of the world and your day game drive shows you why. First, there’s the volcanic caldera (the world’s largest), full of grassland, forest and swamp, a setting of jaw-dropping beauty.

Secondly, the permanent water of the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals. Here you’ll find many of the reasons you chose to come on safari: elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, jackal, wallowing hippo, waterbuck, baboons….even the rare black rhino finds shelter here. Sharing this awesome space with the animals are the Maasai, grazing their cattle in an area which has been a separate conservation area since 1956 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978.

This harmonious co-habitation of man and beast makes Ngorongoro unique in Tanzania and your driver guide will be pleased to explain this incredible co-existence to you.

After our morning game drive, we have our picnic lunch and fresh coffee break in the crater rim before we return to our afternoon game drive. Later at the end of this inspiring afternoon your driver guide will depart the Ngorongoro Crater and head to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 8 Ngorongoro To Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we pick you up from your hotel with lunch boxes at 07:00, our 1.5hours drive will take us to Tarangire National Park, one of the Tanzania’s real treasures. Today you will spend full day in the park, marveling at all its wonderful wildlife. Tarangire National Park often referred to as the ‘elephant Playground’. Herds of up to 300 of these mighty mammals are sometimes seen in the park. The Tarangire River attracts all sorts of animals and birdlife to the park: enjoy sights of elephant, lion, buffalo, cheetah and many more. In the afternoon you will break for lunch and coffee in the park. At end of this day, your driver guide will depart the Tarangire NP and heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 9 Tarangire To Arusha

Today after late breakfast, you pack your bags and drive to Arusha city. You will reach in Arusha in late afternoon perfect time for a hot lunch. The rest of your afternoon is resting at our accommodation. This will then be a great opportunity to say goodbye to your Tanzania safari guide.

Today is your final safari day in Tanzania with us. You enjoy your last day in Arusha before heading back home. Enjoy your late breakfast and packing your stuff. Our driver will pick you up at your hotel at around 10am and take you to do shopping and visit one of the biggest Art galleries in Africa the culture heritage. Later on we will then drive to JRO airport for your next flight home. This will now be the end of your 10 days Kenya and Tanzania family safari and for traveling with Tai Adventures and Safaris.
