      Day 2: Kathmandu City Sightseeing

Beginning your day with refreshing breakfast, you will visit 4 UNESCO enlisted heritage site. The very first tour starts with a visit to the Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage site, Swayambhunath. Commonly known as Monkey temple, this temple is dedicated to Lord Buddha and has a unique dome shaped structure with compassionate eyes of Buddha watching over the city. The prayer flags waving all over the area welcomes you in a very pleasant way. Kathmandu Durbar square was the dwelling set of Rana and Malla king during their reign. This palace complex has many cultural sites in its inner as well as outer courtyard. Some of the main sites include Kumari ghar, Taleju Bhawani temple, Kal Bhairav statue and Hanuman Dhoka. Heading off to Pasupatinath you will witness devotees offering their praying to lord Shiva. The Pasupatinath Temple situated along the holy bank of River Bagmati is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site. Observe the cremation rituals at the river bank before you make your way to another Buddhist site, Boudhanath. Replicating Swaymabhunath, Boudhanath dominates the skyline with its relatively larger structure. After enough exploration and visits, pack your bags as you will be transferred to Nagarkot Hotel to witness the very first glimpse of the sunrise views over the mighty Himalayas.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Bhaktapur Durbar Square With Cooking Class
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 3: Bhaktapur Durbar Square With Cooking Class

Enjoy the first sights of the sunrise before it hits the sky. After beholding the splendid sunrise view from Nagarkot, get down the hill to the medieval city, Bhaktapur durbar square. The Durbar square dates back to 15th century and has colossal pagoda temples and palaces with fine metal and wood carvings. The main attraction of the palace complex includes 55 windows palace, Golden gate, Nyatopola temple, Lionโ€™s gate and Mini Pashupatinath temple. Stroll around the durbar square and get a peek into the everyday struggle of the people living around the area. Visit local craftsmen and try your hand on the traditional handmade mud pots. After a brief exploration of the place, head back to Kathmandu where you will be joining for a cooking class with our expert chefs. The cooking class includes major dishes of Nepal featuring Dal, Bhat, and Chicken curry/Mutton curry/Fish curry with other side dishes. Make memories with our cooking expert as you prepare the dough, make momoโ€™s and taste all prepared food at the end of the class.  After the class you will be transferred to your hotel room. Spend the remaining day on your own as you wander in the streets of Thamel to buy souvenirs to take back home.
