      Welcome to Israel. When you touch down in Ben Gurion Airport you can make your way to your hotel and settle in. Today is at your leisure, you can choose where to go and what to see. There are bustling markets; museums; plenty of stores and stunning beaches. Enjoy the street food and discover ancient buildings. If you would like some tips about how to spend your free day in Israel you are welcome to ask our experts.

      Day 2: City Of David And Underground Jerusalem

      In Jerusalem see the city from Mt. Scopus; travel through the Kidron Valley, site of ancient Jewish tombs and enter the Old City via the Zion Gate. See the Armenian Quarter and in the Jewish Quarter stop at the Cardo, the Byzantine-era main street and the sacred Western Wall. Visit the City of David, an excavated 3,000 year old underground kingdom with tunnels hewn from rock that brought water from the Spring of Gihon.

      Day 3: Masada And The Dead Sea

      Heading south through the Judean Hills and past the Inn of the Good Samaritan we travel below sea level to the lowest point on Earth. We take a cable car to the summit of Masada, a plateau where King Herod built a palace-fortress over 2,055 years ago. After touring Masada we drive through the desert past the Ein Gedi oasis and Qumran to one of the best Dead Sea beaches. Here you can spend time relaxing and floating in the water.

      Day 4: Golan Heights

      Travel through the Valley of Armageddon; pass Megiddo and cross the Jordan River then ascend the Golan mountains covered with forests, farmlands and vineyards. Pass the hot springs of Hamat Gader and stop at the Shalom Observatory for views across the Sea of Galilee below. In Katzrin tour an excavated Talmudic-era village and visit the Golan Antiquities Museum. At Mount Bental explore the abandoned Syrian bunkers from 1967.

      Day 5: Northern Galilee

      Start with a walk around the kibbutz and learn about this unique way of life. Travel to the Hermon River at the foot of Mt. Hermon, Israeliโ€™s highest peak. Stop at the Banias, an area of lush vegetation, forests, streams, natural pools and waterfalls. Tour the remains of a 13th century fortress; stop for lunch in a Druze village. In the holy hilltop city of Safed tour the ancient synagogues.

      Day 6: Caesarea, Acre And Rosh Hanikra

      See the coastal cities of Israel north of Tel Aviv. Tour the ancient Roman port city of Caesarea and in Haifa see the cascading terraced Bahaโ€™i Gardens from an observation terrace. Our journey takes us to the northernmost point on Israelโ€™s coastline where we walk though the white sea caves of Rosh HaNikra. Returning south the tour arrives in the Crusader city of Acre to visit structures from the 12th century, Ottoman era and British Mandate Period.

      Day 8: Flight From Tel Aviv To Eilat + Tour In Petra + Flight Back From Eilat To Tel Aviv

      Fly from Tel Avivโ€™s Ben Gurion Airport to the southern city of Eilat and from there transfer to the Arava border to enter Jordan. Crossing the Desert Highway we reach Petra, a city built over 2,300 years ago by carving structures from red-hued cliffs. Tour the temples, tombs and colonnaded street. We return via Wadi Rum stopping at several observation points. There may be time for a brief panoramic tour of Aqaba before returning to Eilat and flying back to Tel Aviv.

  • Day 9 Day 9: Last Day In Israel

      Day 9: Last Day In Israel

      This is your last day in Israel; you can check-out at 11am but leave your luggage at the hotel until your flight. Perhaps do some last minute souvenir shopping; revisit places you fell in love with on the tour; have a great Israeli meal or enjoy some of the beautiful parks in the city. Feel free to ask us for suggestions about how to spend your time. Then it is good-bye and we hope to see you back in Israel soon!
