      Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to explore this historic and vibrant city at your leisure. Meals: Not included.

      After breakfast, we will depart from the hotel for a full-day tour of Kathmandu, often referred to as the โ€œCity of Glory.โ€ Our first stop is Durbar Square, the heart of the cityโ€™s religious and cultural life, renowned for its exquisite Newari architecture and historic temples. Highlights include Kal Bhairav, Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Temple, Kasthamandap, and Kumari Ghar, the residence of the Living Goddess.


      Next, we visit the Swoyambhunath Stupa, one of the oldest Buddhist stupas in the world, perched majestically on a hill with panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. We then proceed to Pashupatinath Temple, a significant Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River. While entry to the temple courtyard is restricted to Hindus, tourists can view the temple from the eastern side of the river.


      Our final stop is Boudhanath, one of the largest Buddhist stupas globally, known for its towering presence and four pairs of eyes that watch over the cardinal directions, symbolizing vigilance and the pursuit of righteousness. Meals: Breakfast, Welcome Dinner.

      After morning breakfast in the hotel, we take a 25 minutes flight from Kathmandu  Airport to Pokhara. In Pokhara you have the free day to explore this beautiful city on your own. Meals: Breakfast

      After breakfast, we drive 41 km (25 miles) to Nayapul, where our trek begins. From Nayapul, we follow a steep trail that descends to a bridge over a small stream, leading us to the village of Birethanti, a large and thriving settlement. At the ACAP Checkpost in Birethanti, we present our ACAP permit and TIMS Card before taking the left branch of the trail on the west side of the bridge.


      The path leads us through the bustling streets of Birethanti, winding through bamboo forests and past a picturesque waterfall and swimming hole. Continuing, we reach Sudami, located beyond a pasture used by caravans. From there, we steadily climb up the valley to Hille, and about 15 minutes above Hille, we arrive at Tikhedhunga.       This trek takes approximately 4-6 hours and begins with a crossing of the Tikhedhunga Khola on a suspension bridge. We then descend to cross the Bhurungdi Khola on a larger bridge at 1520 meters. The trail ascends steeply via a stone staircase, which is said to have over 3,300 steps, leading us to the large Magar village of Ulleri (2080 meters). From Ulleri, we continue our ascent through pastures and cultivated fields, gradually reaching deep forests and the hamlet of Banthanti.


      As we traverse magnificent oak and rhododendron forests, the trail takes us across two clear streams, a small ridge, and another stream before making the final climb to the Magar village of Nangathanti (2460 meters). About an hour beyond Nangathanti, we arrive at Ghorepani, where the hillsides below are adorned with up to eight species of Nepalโ€™s national flower, the rhododendron.       Early in the morning, we start our trek to Poon Hill (3210m). From Poon Hill, we are treated to a breathtaking panorama of the Himalayan range, including Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Tukuche (6920m), Nilgiri (6940m), Annapurna South, Annapurna I (8091m), Hiunchuli (6441m), and Tarke Kang (7193m). The climb to Poon Hill takes about an hour and offers one of the best viewpoints in Nepal, featuring stunning Himalayan views and a spectacular sunrise.


      After soaking in the magnificent scenery, we return to Ghorepani for breakfast. We then continue our journey to Tatopani, descending steeply to Chitre (2420m). The trail takes us through the extensive terraced fields of the prosperous Magar village of Sikha. From Sikha, we descend gently to Ghara (1780m). Another steep descent of 500 meters leads us to Ghar Khola, where we cross the river via a suspension bridge. We then climb up above the Kaligandaki River before crossing it again. Finally, we turn north, reaching Tatopani, which means โ€™hot waterโ€™ in Nepali, a name derived from the areaโ€™s hot springs. Tatopani is a popular destination for shorter treks from Pokhara.       Early in the morning, after breakfast, we set out on a trek to Beni, where a private car will be waiting to transfer us to Chitwan National Park. Here, weโ€™ll immerse ourselves in the stunning natural beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage site.


      Chitwan National Park is renowned as one of Asiaโ€™s premier wildlife-viewing destinations. With opportunities to spot one-horned rhinos, deer, monkeys, and over 450 species of birds, itโ€™s a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. The park spans more than 932 square kilometers of Sal forests, water marshes, and verdant elephant grasslands, all set against the backdrop of the snow-capped Himalayas.       JUNGLE SAFARI

      For jungle safari, four wheel jeep is easy to go deep into the park, viewing some of the rare species of flora and fauna. We can also go on foot in to the park escorted by our experience guide who will interpret us the concealed secrets of the jungle. Elephant safari is popular in Sauraha jungle safari. Elephants are accessible in almost all resort and lodge in Sauraha

      Another popular activity in the park is the boat/canoe trip down the Rapti and the Narayani Rivers. This is one of the most serene ways to explore the area as float downstream with the riverโ€™s flow.

      BIRD WATCHING

      Chitwan National Park is home for about 500 species of residential and migratory birds. During Jungle safari and canoe trip, we have a great opportunity to see many species of birds including water fowl, Brahminy ducks, pintails, bar-headed geese, cormorants, woodpeckers, hornbills, peacocks, peahens, floricans, red-headed trogons and many others.
