      Welcome to the Kingdom of Denmark!

      Arrival in Copenhagen. 

      Upon arrival, private transfer to a hotel in the city centre.

      Rest of the day at leisure - walk along the streets and explore the city of the royal family, and the main street Strรธget, with many shops, bars and cafes.

      Explore Copenhagen on your own.

      Join the classic canal tour around Copenhagenโ€™s harbour and the idyllic canals. A guide will tell you about the beautiful churches, castles, historical houses, new buildings and all other sights of interest. The Grand Tour departs from Nyhavn or Gammel Strand and passes some of Copenhagenโ€™s best sights and attractions

      Enjoy the famed charms from the past and present, including the infamous Little Mermaid and the rococo Royal Palace Amalienborg. Walk around Nyhavn, originally a busy commercial port, but nowadays a popular tourist place. Donโ€™t forget to notice the house nr. 20, which was home to the famous writer H.C. 

      Andersen. Especially during summer Nyhavn is the perfect place to end a long day.

      If time allows you, you should try to bike around the city as a real Copenhagener. Copenhagen is world famous for its biking culture which is as old as the bicycle itself. Copenhageners have used bicycles to transport themselves to work since the 1880s. Every morning at around 7am Copenhagen comes to life. Men in business suits, women fashionably dressed in the latest styles in their high heel shoes and parents carrying their children in a Christiania bike - all hop on their cycles and get off to work or school.

  • Day 3 Copenhagen To Odense

      Breakfast in your hotel. 

      This morning, you embark on a train westbound towards Fyn, another Danish island on which the city of Odense stands. After approx. 1h30 on board, you arrive in Odense and have the day free to discover the city.

      You are in a historical city; where the write H.C Andersen was born and lived. Donโ€™t miss the museum retracing his life work or the visit of his childhood home, in a cute neighborhood of the city.

  • Day 4 Odense To Aarhus

      Odense To Aarhus

      Breakfast at your hotel. 

      You embark again on the train in the direction of Aarhus (approx. 1h30). You are this time reaching Jylland, Denmarkโ€™s mainland attached to Germany.

      Arrival in Aarhus, the second biggest city in Denmark. This dynamic and young town is perfect for a short stay and discovery.

      You can choose to explore its art museum, ARoS with a spectacular architecture and many modern pieces of art. Walk through the city center, where you will stumble upon a wide range of hip boutiques and cafรฉs, as well as antique stores and art galleries. Donโ€™t forget to visit the cathedral, which is the longest and tallest of its kind in the country. 

      Spend some time in Den Gamle By โ€“ a national open-air museum of urban history and culture, a reconstitution of olden-days, which will gives an insight into everyday Danish life in the past centuries.

  • Day 5 Return To Copenhagen By Boat

      Return To Copenhagen By Boat

      Breakfast at your hotel.

      You have the morning to complete your sightseeing in Aarhus.

      In the afternoon, departure by a scheduled bus to the ferry terminal. You will sail from Aarhus back on Sjรฆlland Island for a little bit more than an hour.

      Enjoy the trip as the boat cuts through the sea to reach the other side. You will then disembark in Odden, where your bus will drive you back to Copenhagen (3h30 in total incl. boat).

      Upon arrival in Copenhagen, spend this last day on completingyour discovery of Denmark. You could indulge in a fun evening in Tivoli Garden, or choose to walk around the small cobbled streets of the city centre with a visit to the Round Tower โ€“ an attraction that offers fantastic views over this one-of-a-kind Scandinavian capital.
