Simply show your voucher and board the boat. You will have to reach the meeting point on your own. - Day 5: Transfer to Basel - You will transfer to Basel by train. Tickets are included but you will need to reach the train station on your own. - Day 5: Basel Old town tour - This is a self guided tour. You will be provided with a Google Maps Link, and you can follow that trail to explore the place by yourself. - Day 5: Day at Leisure in Basel - You will have a day at leisure in Basel - Day 6: Mt. Titlis Excursion (Optional at additional cost) - On this day you will visit Mt. Titlis where you will head to Engelberg and onward to the hugely popular Mt Titlis by Gondola and cable car. The cost for the ticket of entry, the gondola and cable car included (If Optional Selected). - Day 7: Departure - Today you will transfer from Basel hotel to Airport by taking aiport shuttle from hotel (If available, between 6-8 Swiss Franc per person to be paid directly at the hotel).

We would like to clarify that this is NOT a group/ coach tour. The plan will be only for independent travel for your party. Although you may be joining groups for certain sightseeing activities (if mentioned in the itinerary) and for your walking tour, overall this is not a coach tour (in which everything is managed from airport to airport). Please note that for all sightseeings, the activity starts from a meeting point. You are expected to reach the meeting point on your own. We hope that is okay with you. Also the transfers from train station to hotel and vice versa are not included. For this purpose you can easily haul a cab. This way the need to manage bags on your own will be limited. On this day experience the charm of Heidelberg on this day trip from Frankfurt. Transfer from Frankfurt to Heidelberg using the return train tickets provided.

After reaching, visit the world-famous ruins of Heidelberg Castle which has a stunning combination of Gothic and Renaissance elements.

Stroll through the expansive courtyard and admire the views from the terrace. Marvel at one of the largest wine barrels in the world. Wander through the medieval town centre to find the Old Bridge, the Karlstor, and the Church of the Holy Spirit.

Admire the Haus zum Ritter (Knight’s house) with its magnificent Renaissance façade. Take a walk on old narrow lanes lined with half-timbered houses. Pass by Germany’s oldest university and it is full of interesting stories.

This morning you will be transferred to Freiburg from Frankfurt via train. The train tickets will be provided by us but you will have to manage the transfers from and to the train stations on your own. After cheking into your hotel, you can spend the rest of the day in Freiburg getting to know the city, walking around the town, and going out dining.

Today, stroll through the alleys of Freiburg’s old town, learn interesting stories and discover little secrets. While walking along the "Bächle" (watercourses), into which you should not "dappen" (step), you can find surprising things.

Visit the colourful stalls with flowers, vegetables, meat and cheese, but also with junk and filigree things of daily life exude French lifestyle at the market. And in the vinotheque of the "Alte Wache" you can enjoy a good Baden drop of Pinot Gris to match. The tour will takes you for two to three hours on 2.5 family-friendly kilometres. This is a self guided tour. You will be provided with a Google Maps Link, and you can follow that trail to explore the place by yourself.

Europa-Park Visit (Optional at additional cost) - You can visit the largest theme park in the country and experience a thrilling good time with its 100 attractions and shows spreading over 95 hectares of land. Also explore 15 themed areas representing the different European countries. You don’t have to ride planes or trains to get to another European country as Europa-Park will take you to Greece, Scandinavia, Ireland, Portugal, and even, Iceland. Learn about the history of the city and the beautiful Tinguely Fountain, Cathedral Hill, the town hall, and the winding streets of the well-preserved old town. This is a self guided tour, we will provide you with google maps link to navigate through Basel.

Today You will have a day at leisure in Basel. You can visit the Basel Zoo, take a cruise on Rhine river or anything that you want to plan this day.

Mt. Titlis Excrursion (Optional) - On this day you will visit Mt. Titlis where you will head to Engelberg and onward to the hugely popular Mt Titlis by Gondola and cable car. The cost for the ticket of entry, the gondola and cable car included (If Optional Selected). To reach this place you will need to take a train to Engelberg from Lucerne with the help of Swiss Pass. Watch out for amazing views of a high alpine world of rocks and snow. The ’Ice Flyer’ chairlift allows you to ’fly’ over the glacier and see it up close (the cost of Ice Flyer is included if option is selected).
