      Your Oaxaca City adventure begins with a warm welcome. Stroll through cobblestone streets, savor aromatic coffee, and indulge in local delicacies. Visit historic sites like Santo Domingo Church, absorbing the city’s vibrant culture. Engage with friendly locals, setting the tone for an unforgettable journey into Oaxaca’s heart.


      At night a welcome dinner will welcome you around 7:30 pm in a local restaurant where the menu changes every two weeks

      Immerse Yourself In A Rural Cooking Class

      Your English-speaking guide will pick you up to take you to a private Rural Cooking Workshop of approximately 6 hours duration in a Zapotec community in the Valley of Oaxaca. Here, you will meet at the market with a comidera, the title given to the ladies who prepare the feasts for the festivities in the communities and who are renowned for their culinary knowledge and seasoning, to learn a little about how to choose and buy the local products that will be needed to prepare the dishes. Afterwards, you will go to their home to enjoy their cooking where you will participate in the preparation of their most traditional dishes, which consist of a soup, either chepil boiled soup, milpa soup, pumpkin leaf soup or chickpea soup, a green mole with pumpkin seed, a dessert (apples or tejocotes in sweet, chocolate tamale) and a drink (coffee or chocolate) all made by hand, to firewood stove, metate and molcajete. Finally, you will delight your palate with the prepared delicacies.

      Today, your local English-speaking guide will pick you up for a tour (lasting approximately 8 hours) designed with a blend of archaeology, handicrafts, and nature. The tour will start 10 km from the City of Oaxaca after a 20-minute transfer. Your first stop will be in Santa María del Tule to see the ancient Tree of Tule, a two-thousand-year-old Montezuma cypress known for having the strongest trunk in the world. From there, you will be transferred for approximately 1.5 hours to Hierve el Agua Park, unique for its rock formations resembling cascades. Here, you can explore the area and swim in the mineral-rich cold springs while enjoying the panoramic view of the surrounding mountain landscape.



      Afterwards, you will descend to the Mitla Archaeological Zone to appreciate and learn about the geometries in the decorative walls. Following a 30-minute break, you will head to Teotitlán del Valle, where you will visit the House of Wool Weavers to learn about spinning, weaving, and dyeing wool. Finally, you will go to the Mezcal Palenque, where you will have the opportunity to taste different types of mezcal and learn about its production process. After a full day of activities, you will return to the city of Oaxaca

      Enjoy a free day in Oaxaca. 

      Oaxaca is a city with a rich history and culture that is reflected in its impressive colonial monuments. One of the highlights is the church of Santo Domingo, one of the most beautiful baroque churches in Mexico. If you are interested in botany, the Ethnobotanical Garden is a fascinating place to learn about the native plants of the region. The Rufino Tamayo Museum and the Casa de Juarez Museum are two places not to be missed if you want to learn more about the history and culture of Oaxaca. And don’t forget to try the local gastronomy, especially the Siete Moles, a set of sauces that include ingredients such as chilies, spices and chocolate, which are emblematic of the region.

      Monte Albán And The Alebrijes Workshop: An Unforgettable Experience

      Today you will have an exciting 6-hour adventure exploring the archaeology, history and handicrafts of the region. Your guide will pick you up, and you will begin your tour of Monte Alban, a great Zapotec city located on a hilltop in the centre of the Central Valleys of Oaxaca. This city had a significant influence on the development of Mesoamerica and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will enjoy the breathtaking scenery of mountains and valleys as you tour the main structures of the complex, including the North Platform and the Great Plaza. You will pay special attention to the Galería de los Danzantes and the ball court, among other impressive buildings, during the two-hour tour.


      Afterwards, you will move on to the community of Arrazola, where you will visit the Alebrijes Workshop in the House of Don Mario Jimenez, an alebrijes artisan. His son, Isaías, will explain the workshop’s history, and the artisans will give you a carved piece of wood to paint with the colours of your choice. This is a unique experience that will allow you to learn more about the traditions and culture of the region. The transfer will take approximately 20 minutes.

      You’ll start the day around 9:00 AM, Oaxaca is a magical city. The skies are deep blue in the heart of the valley. Women in embroidered huipiles, colorful houses, flowers on the trees, parades and local people garnish the streets. And then there’s the street art.


      We will be cycling around 3 neighborhoods of the city visiting interesting spots, art workshops and of course, street art. They are everywhere: big murals, stencils, posters. Oaxacan Artists are abundant and very talented. It’s like visiting an outdoor museum.


      During the ride we will have time to share a local and organic drink or snack.


      After this, you’ll pick you up your rental car to go to your next destination

Thanks to the high altitude of this village, you’ll have the opportunity to hike through impressive trails in the cloud forest and enjoy unparalleled views. The hike lasts approximately 3 hours and is perfect for those seeking a relaxing natural activity.

      Today, your local guide in English will take you on a tour of approximately five hours to move you to the path of Zanate, where you will take a walk with the guide that will explain this path’s flora, fauna, and importance in the ecosystem; you will arrive to Huatulco National Park heart, where a boat will wait for you to go from the Pacific turquoise blue waters to the area where you will practice snorkeling. Discover Huatulco corners and its five main ecosystems: jungle, wetland, beach, reef, and marine area.       With your local Spanish-speaking guide and a group of travelers, you will live a turtle release experience that lasts approximately 45 minutes, depending on the nature. Your adventure begins with a brief tour, where the hatching pen is shown, and the conservation project is explained; the incubation, hatching, emergence, and release of the baby turtles. The problem of looting and why it is necessary to incubate them in a guarded place. Finally, you will be able to participate in the release of the hatchlings that will have just hatched in protection with the visitors. It is an experience of life and reflection to see how the turtles seek their way to the sea. This activity depends entirely on nature.

      Today, your local English-speaking guide will be waiting for you at the meeting point to take you on a horseback riding experience, first you will board a canoe that will take you to the beach of Puerto Suelo, then you will have a horseback ride from the beach to the mouth bar where the Manialtepec lagoon meets the sea, during the ride you can observe the different types of birds that inhabit the mangroves. Then you can rest in a restaurant (lunch is not included) where you can watch the sunset. Finally, you can return to your hotel.
