What&#x27;s the accommodation like?

The accommodation is at Quaaout Spa & Resort in Chase, Canalta, or Elk & Ave. in Banff , and Prestige Resort Golden (*New).

Each room has a private bathroom with towels, soap, and shampoo. The price is based on quad occupancy, which means 4 people would share a room with 2 beds.

Meals not mentioned in the itinerary, medical and travel insurance, any other personal expense such as the optional activities (shown in the "extras" section)

What should I bring?

Swimsuit for heated pools and hot tubs, warm clothes including gloves, toque, ski pants and a warm jacket – temperatures can actually drop below -15 degrees! Passport and second piece of ID to get into the bars, and good/comfortable warm walking shoes.

Do I need medical or travel insurance?

Accepted Answer

Medical insurance is not mandatory; however, it is highly recommended. If unfortunately you get hurt or become ill while traveling and need to go to the hospital, not having insurance, you will be asked to pay a very expensive medical bill.

How long does it take to get to the Rockies?

It usually takes approximately 8 hours to enter the Rockies area. However, you will stop at several places to visit other attractions and for bathroom breaks.

Where do we stop to get food?

We stop at places where you can find all kinds of places to buy food like supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants and food courtyards. Your tour guide will give you a list with a variety of different dining options that will suit all budgets and meal preferences.

If the experience is in groups, how large are the groups?

They are always small groups of travelers with a very good atmosphere. It can be up to 30 people, but generally they are 12 or less people.

At what time should I get there on the first day?

You have to be at 7:45 am at the departure point indicated when booking. At 8:00 am leaves the bus, so it&#x27;s very important to be on time.

All tours are scheduled to arrive back in Downtown Vancouver before 08:00 pm (PCT)

Do I need a visa?

It is necessary to check directly with your country&#x27;s embassy to confirm if there are any visa requirements to visit Canada. This will depend on your nationality. It is also important that the passport has at least six months validity from the return of the trip. When is the best season to go on this adventure?

Any time is a good time. It will depend on what you are looking for. If you want to see beautiful blue lakes - From end of June to end of September. If you want to see snow and orange leaved trees, but still blue lakes - October. If you don&#x27;t mind the cold and want to see how amazing the Rockies look full of snow and go skiing - December - March.

How is the weather in this experience?

From November to March it&#x27;s very cold. Alberta is famous for its extreme temperatures, therefore, during Summer you can experience temperature as high as 34 degrees C and during the Winter as low as -40 degrees C.

No, we suggest having only the regular vaccinations up to date

What happens if I get sick or injured during the trip and I can&#x27;t go on?

The tour guide is advised to take the person to a hospital - if needed - but will not stay behind. No refunds will be given and we strongly recommend travel insurance for that.

Yes. Lunch, snacks, and dinners are not included during the Winter tours.

We usually stop a grocery stores, so it can vary from person to person. Many of our guests buy sandwiches that can be as cheap as $6. Others prefer to get subway or sushi on the way. When staying in Banff, if you want to have a good dinner, prices can vary from $16 to $60.

Keeping it simple is the best. One regular size suitcase per person is ideal. There will be plenty of space on the bus if they want to leave anything there during the tour.

The currency used in Canada is the Canadian Dollar ($,CAD) We recommend you to change to the local currency before arriving in the country. It is also possible to change at some exchange offices and ATMs upon arrival in the country. Not all stores accept international credit and debit cards, so it is recommended to have some cash on hand.
