The best season to travel to Morocco is after summer, the autumn-winter season helps to calm the heat in the extensive Morocco, the recommended months are from July to February.

How is the weather in this experience?

The climate is typical Mediterranean, varying from 12 ° C in winter to 25 ° C in summer. The interior of Morocco has a warmer climate during the year. In the summer, the temperature can exceed 40 ° C, but it goes down a lot at night. In winter, the thermometer can drop to -20 ° C in the Atlas. When it rains, it is usually between the North and the Middle Atlas; on average there are 75-100 cm3 of rain, while other parts of the country receive no more than 35 cm3.

No vaccines are needed to travel to Morocco, not even for the yellow fever; nor is there an explicit WHO recommendation. However, if you want to travel safely, some of the vaccines that may be recommended are the following: Typhoid Fevers, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Tetanus-Diphtheria

This experience does not include flight tickets, some meals, drinks, tickets to historical monuments, recreational activities, or any other activity not included in the itinerary.

What extra expenses are there during the tour?

Accepted Answer

There are always activities that you can do on your own for which you will have to pay, as well as for the meals that are not included; that&#x27;s why we recommend you take extra money for your expenses during the experience. The amount depends on how much you consider spending, you usually only need 200 Dirham per day, approximately 1000 Mexican Pesos.

Do I have free time during the activities of the experience?

You will have brief moments to rest, in those you will be able to appreciate and visit  other places on your own. These moments will allow you to give a break to the busy itinerary; however, it will not allow to make large breaks as there is much to know and visit on the tour.

Meals can vary from 20 Dirham to 100 Dirham (100 to 500 Mexican Pesos); if you want to save money, you can ask your guides for recommendations that fit your budget.

The accommodation is in three-star Riad hotels, they are very comfortable and clean; they have everything you need for a pleasant and quiet stay. The options are: Riad the bohemian jungle; Riad Amina; Riad palau; Riad Zaki

Do I need travel insurance? What should my policy cover?

Accepted Answer

It is always advisable to have insurance for major medical expenses for any type of emergency; it is recommended to have full travel insurance, if there are problems with delayed or canceled flights.

Do I need a visa to enter the country?

Accepted Answer

It is necessary to check directly with the embassy in your country to confirm if there are any visa requirements. This will depend on the nationality; some nationalities do require a visa to enter Morocco. You must follow the instructions of the embassy to make the application. It is also important that the passport has at least six months validity from the return of the trip.

For travelers who have a Mexican passport, it is NOT necessary to have a visa to enter the Kingdom of Morocco. Similarly, it is required to have proof of departure, ie have a return ticket purchased.

What size of backpack or suitcase do you recommend to take?

It is recommended to carry a light luggage to facilitate transfers, a suitcase of 10 Kg would be ideal; you can add a light backpack to carry your belongings with you.

Where does the experience begin? will they pick me up at the airport or hotel?

Accepted Answer

The experience starts at the hotel of the passengers in Marrakech (not included); if the passengers want to start the tour the same day of arrival, they will be picked up at the airport.

What happens if I get sick or injured on the trip and I can not continue?

Accepted Answer

It is always important and advisable to have a medical insurance in case of accidents; if you do not have it and something happens during the tour,  you would be transfered to the nearby airport (not covered) in case you have to return immediately. If you don&#x27;t have to leave immediately, you would be transfered to the hotel so you can rest the days that are necessary (not covered).

If I arrive earlier or leave after, where can I stay?

If you arrive a day earlier or you stay a day more, it would be a supplement of 40 Euros per person per night in a hotel or Riad that we will reserve for you, including bed and breakfast.

Accepted Answer

You could have signal; however, it is recommended to buy a sim card there in order to be able to have coverage anywhere, you can acquire it upon arrival.

All hotels have Wi-fi, also some restaurants that you will visit; the only night you will not have Wi-fi is the one where you will camp at the desert.

Yes, you can charge your devices in the hotels and restaurants of Morocco, during the whole journey there will be a time when you can charge your battery; we  also recommend you take an extra battery.

Within what schedule can I arrive on the first day ?

If you plan to start your tour on the same day of arrival in Morocco, we recommend that you arrive at the earliest in the morning, from 8 am. In case you arrive later, it has to be until 11 am tops.

Within what time will we finish the tour on the last day?

After finishing all the activities, you will be free at 4pm Morocco time to arrange your return to the airport in case you decide to leave on that same day.

What physical condition do I need to complete this experience?

You will need a normal physical condition, as long as you can walk well and can climb on camels in the desert, there is no problem. People who have had back surgery recently is not recommended to go on the camel, someone will drive them to the camp instead.

The voltage and frecuency is of 220 V/ 50 Hz. The plug ins are type C /E , so you will probably need an adaptor

As long as you can walk normally and ride a camel, there&#x27;s not a specific physical condition required. For people with recent back surgery, we can provide transportation by car to the camp
