Our fleet of Mercedes will carry you around in style. Each coach has AC, comfortable leather seats and with a maximum of 15 passengers no one is cramped.

Day 1: Cork And Kiss The Blarney Stone

Is it a Chapel? Is it a Palace? Is it a Cathedral? The 1000 year old Rock of Cashel is all three and it’s an open-mouthed moment and an historic way to begin the tour. Then it’s off to Cork, known as the "Rebel county", coined by Henry VII when it supported a rebellion against him in 1491. The rebel spirit is still around today with Cork locals often claiming it to be the real capital, much to Dublin’s chagrin.

It’s off for a spot of kissing next and to the famous Blarney Stone. Legend has it that whoever kisses it, gets the gift of the gab; your bus buddies will be sure to tell you if it works!

The evening belongs to historic Kinsale, where your guide will take you down picturesque streets full of maritime history, silversmiths, galleries and antique shops. Next, we’ll head to the many award-winning fish restaurants and watch red snapper fight it out with John Dory to be your catch of the day. There’s also last orders to catch at The Spaniard or The Silent Banjo, which unlike the name suggests, is jumping with banjos and flutes and ‘jammers’ (packed) with locals.

Day 2: Magical Kingdom Of Kerry And Castles

After the ‘full Irish’ (a tasty cooked breakfast), we’ll take on parts of The Ring of Kerry; On the hunt for glacier shaped lakes, mystical waterfalls and red deer, we’ll gear up for a two hour cycle around Killarney National Park and ‘rubber neck’ as we stop to look at 18th century Muck Ross house and the Reeks in the distance. The evening belongs to Dingle and how about a trip to hardware store, Foxy John’s? Don’t be alarmed, the only DIY you’ll be doing is ordering a drink from its fully stocked bar. And did we tell you about the Leather Shop, Dick Mac’s? It comes with a pub, a gang of lively locals and a very loquacious barman.

Day 3: Explore The Dingle Peninsula

Begin your morning with a glorious kayak around Dingle Bay. You’ll discover nearby caves and maybe even meet some marine life along the way! If you’d prefer to stand up and remain on solid ground then our guide will bring you on a local hike where you can get 360 views of the peninsula.

Then it’s off to Slea Head Drive, on a journey through Irish-speaking villages, famous Hollywood film locations with close-up views of Skellig Michael and some Jedi spotting. Then it’s back for another night in Dingle and a spot of DIY in the local hardware store, (wink, wink).

Day 4: Mighty Cliffs Of Moher

It’s ‘bye, bye’ Dingle as the drops and encroaching cliffs at every turn on the way to Castlegregory. Crossing the Shannon, we’ll head to the edge of the world and to The Cliffs of Moher, 14 km of dramatic coastline standing 300 metres above the churning Atlantic. We’ll take on a two and a half hour hike of the Cliffs, veering off the traditional tourist trails to find secret passages and fissures and unrivalled photo opportunities as the Atlantic roars its appreciation. Voted a Unesco world heritage site, standing at the ledge, you’ll feel like you’re at the very edge of the world. As evening draws in, we’ll spend it in Doolin, The home of Irish music and between the music and the foot-tapping, the black-stuff and the company, ‘the craic(fun) will be ninety’!

Day 5 Day 5: More Castles And Bohemian Galway

Day 5: More Castles And Bohemian Galway

From the long-time dead, we’ll take in the 12th century Corcomroe Abbey and Dungaire Castle, a 16th century tower house which sits on a rocky outcrop on Galway Bay. Next, we’ll head for the dizzy heights of Galway, European City of Culture, 2020 and home to the Claddagh Ring. There, we’ll chase down the ceol agus craic, (music and fun), street performers, artists, buskers and the last of the Bohemians. With the wild Atlantic giving up her treasures daily, the city is a gourmet’s fish and seafood utopia. To whet your appetite, your local guide will take you on an historical walk of the city. Then it’s off to explore the city on your own! Try out our local bakeries, catch an oyster at the market, or sit in a snug and enjoy a pint and some music. Not only will you leave with full bellies, we’ll fill you full of stories of Galway’s colourful characters and historical past.

Day 6: Staggering Cliffs On The Aran Islands

Fed and watered, it’s off to nearby Rossaveal Pier to catch the ferry to Inis Mor (literally ‘big island’), the largest of the Aran Islands and to gear up for an exhilarating cycle.

Biking the entire coastline, we’ll stop by Dún Aonghasa, a prehistoric hill fort which dominates the edge of a vertical cliff, 300 ft above the choppy waters of the Atlantic.

Refreshing with "an cupan tae" (a cup of tea) and island porter cake, we’ll head for Connemara National Park and The Lost Valley, a deserted famine village where the road literally runs out.

It’s Westport next, voted one of the prettiest towns in Ireland and nestled between the Carrowbeg river and in the shadow of Croagh Patrick. Here we’ll grab a bit of craic, baked Atlantic hake or wild Irish pheasant in one of the artisan restaurants before sinking a pint of the black stuff at Matt Molloy’s, a hopping, traditional music pub owned by the flute-playing Chieftain himself.

Day 7 Day 7: Connemara And Croagh Patrick

Day 7: Connemara And Croagh Patrick

In search of some serenity, we’ll leave Westport and prepare for the ‘pilgrim climb’ up Croagh Patrick, known colloquially as ‘The Reek’ and Ireland’s sacred mountain.

Although St Patrick is believed to have fasted on the summit in 441AD, it has been a place of pagan worship since 3000BC.

Let your guide take you 764 metres high, on a two hour climb over loose, rocky scree as you ascend cloud-wards. Your perseverance will be rewarded by a 360 degrees of Clew Bay with its 365 islands and sunken drumlins. After the one and a half hour descent, you will be all clued up about St. Patrick, the man, the saint, his mountain and how he gave his name to the madness that happens every March 17th.
