How is the daily routine?

Upon arrival you will receive a package containing pick up times and vouchers for all activities, after each day tour you will have the opportunity to visit each destination and have a free afternoon to rest for the next day of adventure.

Which is the size of the groups?

The group size average is between 6 and 12 people.

Do I need vaccinations ?

Not really, but vaccination requirements are subject to change and should be confirmed before departure. Ask your doctor for latest advice on different vaccines available against malaria.

How is the transportation?

All transportation according to the itinerary is included, starting with an airport transfer on the first day and finishing with the departure transfer to the airport.

The meals included will be at local restaurants as well as it will be prepared by the tour guides when it's needed.

Do I need special gear or clothes for this experience?

What currency do you reccomend to bring?

You should carry with USD and credit/debit cards. Cards are widely accepted, but little stores or street sellers may only take local cash. There are ATMS along the way. Check with your bank to make sure your card will work internationally.

Which are the extra expenses?

You will need to pay for some meals, drinks, souvenirs and tips. Here are a few things to keep in mind: Departure Tax- The Departure Tax in Costa Rica is $29 USD. This needs to be paid at the airport with USD, local cash or any major credit card. You need to pay this tax before going to the airline counter. Check with your airline if this fee is already included on your ticket. Tipping- It is customary in Latin America to tip service providers, such as waiters, with approximately 10%, depending on the service. Meals not included- Lunch: $10 to $12 USD Dinner: $12 to $20 USD

Is it possible to travel in another date not mentioned on the website?

It is possible to open new dates and guarantee the departures with a minimum of 4 people. This number is necessary due to the activities, transport and some accommodations.

Do I need to bring a sleeping bag?

No, the place you'll be camping at has everything needed such as mattress and sheets.

Wich is the age range?

The minimum age required for this experience is 14 years old.Minors have a regular rate. The maximum recommended age is 50 years old.

Day 2 San Jose- Pacuare River – Rafting

The adventure finally begins! Some of Costa Rica's most spectacular scenery is along the foothills of the Irazú and Turrialba volcanoes at La Cruz, the upper gateway to the raging Pacuare River. At the riverbank you eat lunch then load up into the rafts class II-III and paddle through pristine rainforest and canyon cliffs, along with deafening waterfalls.
By the afternoon you arrive at your comfortable riverside camp, El Nido del Tigre. You can wander off to explore this lush environment, looking out for toucans and boa constrictors and sloth, or simply relax in a hammock to the sounds of the river.

Day 3 Pacuare River - Rafting- La Fortuna

Pacuare River - Rafting- La Fortuna

The Pacuare carries you through virgin rainforest, cascading waterfalls and river carved canyons. You maneuver through the exhilarating rapids class III-IV and in gentler sections where you can see into the rainforest at the river’s edge.
Along the way you hike to waterfalls, jump in to swim in the softer rapids, and have lunch on the shore. After leaving the river near Siquirres, you are driven to the small town of La Fortuna, with Arenal Volcano right in front of you.
There are plenty of great and interesting food options in Fortuna.

Day 4 La Fortuna- Arenal Volcano – La Fortuna

In the morning you spend about 2 hours at the Arenal hanging bridges with wonderful panoramic views of the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal.
Then you continue to the breathtaking Rio Fortuna waterfall. The falls drops 120ft/35 meters into a large natural swimming pool. The hike down to the falls is steep through spectacular flora and fauna. The falls spill over into smaller gentler cascades and swim areas.
Spend the afternoon on your own exploring the town of La Fortuna, relaxing in your hotel.

Day 5 La Fortuna- Manuel Antonio

In the morning you are driven for about 5 hours to get to Manuel Antonio. The Pacific Coast of Costa Rica is a treasure chest of natural beauty. The rainforest dramatically meets the beach and the sea.
Manuel Antonio is a great place to relax and enjoy the beach or the National Park. You will often be awakened by the local monkeys – howler, white-faced and squirrel are the most common in the area, as well as iguanas and land crabs.
This area is well developed for tourism, with numerous options for food and beach-related adventures, from snorkel or scuba to deep sea fishing, porpoise tours to mangrove nature trips.
