Catch a short flight to Aswan from Cairo, and start your day. You will be touring Aswan and checking in to your Nile Cruise Ship. Enjoy a full day of sightseeing, starting with visiting the Aswan High Dam, built from 1960-to 1970. It is the worldโ€™s largest embankment dam, built to control the Nile and flooding within Egypt. Then you will continue to see the Philae Temple, built to honor the goddess, Isis. It is truly a beautiful temple, and it would have been lost to the floods had the Aswan dam not been built. Enjoy the trip back to Aswan, board your cruise ship, and enjoy lunch as it sets off for your next stop.

There is a great opportunity for an early morning optional tour to visit the Great Temples of Abu Simbel, and youโ€™ll experience the wonderful sanctuaries that worked for Ramses II and his darling ruler Nefertari. These sanctuaries close to the Sudanese outskirt are notable for their magnificence, yet exceptional for their cutting-edge history also - they were migrated in 1968 to stay away from submersion by the enormous Lake Nasser.

Set sail to Kom Ombo for 5 hours sailing from aswan to kom ombo where will be your next stop.

Explore the Kom Ombo Temple. Built on the Nile banks, where crocodiles used to sun themselves, this unusual dual-deity temple of the Ptolemaic Period is dedicated to both Haroeris (one of the oldest forms of the falcon-headed God Horus) and, appropriately enough, the fearsome Crocodile God Sobek.

Egyptian Night Party Itโ€™s a tradition on board Nile Cruise ships to have a party where everyone buys and wears a Galabeya, a traditional Egyptian gown. Most people bought their Galabeya. A party full of fun- a mixture of old 60โ€™s & 70โ€™s dance tunes and Arabian music. Overnight in Edfu

After your tour, you will continue the journey sailing the Nile, arriving in Luxor in the afternoon for a time of each great temple at Luxor & Karnak. You will see how the pharaohs were used to build vast temples at Luxor and Karnak, which honor the God Amun Ra. You will see the newly opened avenue of sphinxes and so many more.
