Transport

Transportation to and from Algonquin Park Access Point #1 is not included. For an additional cost, we can provide an Overnight Package for those who elect to travel to us by bus. See below for more details. Traveling to Algonquin Park by Bus Due to the bus schedule and our 12 pm start time for our Algonquin Park canoe trips, you will need to arrive the day before your trip if traveling to us by bus. Guests are welcome to come the afternoon before and spend an extra night with dinner and breakfast - although this is a nonguided experience as you wait for other guests to arrive on the official Day 1. Please select "Overnight Package" under optional add-ons for this option. The Overnight Package is $225 per person and includes pick up and drop off from South River bus station, an overnight cabin accommodation, dinner, and breakfast before your trip. This cost does NOT include your bus ticket (you purchase it yourself, see below.) Two different bus companies offer service daily from Toronto to our local town of South River where we can pick you up and drive you 25 minutes to our base at Algonquin Park Access #1. Please purchase your own bus ticket online and confirm the date with us so we can arrange a pick up time. Toronto to Algonquin Park Ontario Northland leaves from Yorkdale Station at 9:15 and arrives at South River at 2:10pm. The cost is about $88 each way for adults. Northern Airport Service leaves from Pearson Airport at 2pm daily and travels to South River arriving at 5:50pm. The cost is about $110 each way. Algonquin Park to Toronto Ontario Northland has daily pick ups at 4:45pm from South River - returning to Toronto at 9:15pm. This time works perfectly for our trips which end at 3pm. This gives us plenty of time to drop you off at the South River bus stop.
