      Arrive at Cairo International Airport (CAI) after your flight in Mexico City.

      You are greeted by an experience representative, who will be holding a sign, and will assist you with the formalities before going through immigration.

      Have the transfer to the hotel, check in and are ready to rest in your room.

      At the time arranged by the guide you have a meeting with your travel companions in which they explain the activities of the next few days as well as the schedules for visiting the tourist sites, this is the perfect time to clarify any doubts you may have about this adventure in Egypt.

      Note: The flight from Mexico City to Cairo is included, may have up to 2 stopovers and depart between 1 and 2 days prior to arrival in the city. Detailed flight information (airline, route, date and time) will be provided no later than 7 days prior to the start of the experience.

  • Day 2 Cairo- Sakkara

      After breakfast, start the day by visiting the inspiring Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx on the Giza plateau.

      You have the opportunity to enter the main pyramid, Cheops, and discover its narrow interior in an unforgettable tour of approximately 20 minutes. (Entrance fee not included).

      The pyramids of Mykerinos and Chephren can only be seen from the outside and together, with Cheops they form an iconic Egyptian landscape.

      Continue to Sakkara and visit the Step Pyramid, the first pyramid to be completed in Egypt, as well as visit the ancient pharaonic tombs.

      Note: Entrance to the pyramid is not recommended for claustrophobic people due to limited space.

      This day is Sunday or Thursday.

      Arrive to Aswan and meet the tour representative who transfers you to your hotel.

      Start the day off with a tour of the romantic Philae Temple, perched atop a picturesque island, where its beautiful location is reached by small motor boats, making it a truly magnificent approach to the site.

  • Day 4 Nile River Felucca

      After breakfast, at approximately 12 pm, you go up to the Faluca (sailboat) of the Nile.

      You will enjoy lunch aboard the faluca and watch the world go by as you start sailing down the river; you will observe rural life on the coast and assimilate the changing scenery as you sail down the imposing Nile.

      At night the faluca ends the day's journey and right there you'll have dinner and then rest on board of this traditional Egyptian sailboat.

      Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

      Accommodation: night in the faluca - When traveling with minors the accommodation changes to hotel in Aswan see section "extras".

      Optional extra: visit Abu Simbel, the stupendous Sun Temple of Ramses the Great, located at the southernmost tip of ancient Egypt’s borders. From 3 am to 1:30 pm.

  • Day 5 Kom Ombo- Luxor

      In the morning, you disembark the felucca and then travel on an A/C bus to the city of Luxor, often described as the world’s greatest open-air museum and home to some of the greatest monuments that have survived from ancient Thebes.

      On the way you visit the temple of Kom Ombo, its perfectly symmetrical twin entrances overlook the spectacular riverside. In the afternoon you go on a tour of the East Bank of the Nile, here you admire the immense Karnak Temple, considered by some as Egypt’s most important Pharonic site; as well as you visit the magnificent Luxor Temple where visitors are greeted by the impressive Avenue of Sphinxes.

      After having breakfast,explore the West Bank of Luxor, starting the tour with the world famous Valley of the Kings, the richest archaeological site on earth.}

      Then on to the breathtaking Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir al-Bahri), built for the only woman to reign over Egypt as pharaoh.

      Next, you visit the great Colossi of Memnon, the last remains of Amenophis III’s temple.

      Departure from Hurghada very early (5:30 am approx.) towards Cairo. After making the trip by land (5 hours approx.) to Cairo, you will be able to relax a little at the hotel.

      The guide will indicate the time you will leave the hotel to take city tour, starting at the Egyptian Museum where you will see the treasures from the tomb of King Tutankhamun.

      Continue to the old Cairo Bazaar: Khan El Khalili, with its maze of intriguing alleyways that are home to numerous souvenir stalls and coffee shops.

      Return to the hotel to rest after this great day.
