Welcome to Morocco! Arrive to Med V airport in Casablanca where you will meet your driver. The driver will provide a brief overview of your tour. You will explore the city of Casablanca starting with the mosque of Hassan II built by King Hassan II and shows wonderful sample of Moorish influences in Morocco. We will also take a smooth walk by the seaside of Casablanca. Casablanca is the economic capital and the largest city in Morocco, linked to the 1942 movie Casablanca, with modern architecture and white building with distinct French art deco influences. We will also visit the main square of Med V, and the Cathedral of Sacred Coeur, which blends Moroccan and European influences.

Day 2 Casablaca - Marrakech

Around 08:00 AM you will be picked up from your hotel in Casablanca by your English-speaking driver, transfer to Marrakech for about a 2:30 hours drive where you will be welcomed by your English-speaking guide in Marrakech to enjoy the rest day in Marrakech. Discover historical sightseeing includes Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Majorelle Garden, and Saadian Tombs. Lunch (optional) will be served at a local restaurant before visiting the souks in handicraft quarters. In the afternoon you will have time to go shopping at the famous Djemâa El Fina before. Later Overnight at your Riad in the old Medina

Day 3 Marrakech - Dades

Depart from Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the amazing Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Once crossed, everything changes. From the barren desert to the stunning red rock mountains outlined by lush green river beds, the contrast is spectacular and all that is needed for breathtaking landscapes.It takes a good two days with photographic stops to arrive at our luxury tent camp outside Merzouga. Here you will also experience the authentic remote lifestyles of the indigenous Berber tribes people. Be prepared for many amazing photo opportunities. Our amazing day will take us through Aït Benhaddou including many wonderful casbahs and lush valleys. We will visit the Ksar and explore Berber architecture. We will explore the cities of Ouarzazate, Skoura, Roses Valley and Dades Valley before arriving at our hotel in Boumalne Dades.

Overnight in Luxury Raid Dades

Day 4 Dades - Merzouga

After breakfast we leave our Luxury Raid Dades for our drive to Merzouga Sahara Desert. Our ride will take us to Tinghir. Here we will visit Todgha Gorges. After exploring we will continue on passing through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud. Here you will begin to feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, and then finally on to Merzouga. In Morocco Sahara Desert we will switch to a 4-wheel drive Land Cruiser and head into the desert to our Luxury Tent Desert Camping, complete with hot and cold running water, king size beds and duvets, shower and toilet.Once in the camp we will position ourselves high up on a dune to capture the camel caravans passing through. Shooting in the desert at this time is truly an amazing experience, complete with a golden glow and long shadows. Here we will hopefully enjoy a magical sunset. Dinner followed by the beating of Berber drums around a fire pit. Overnight in Luxury Camp.

Day 5 Merzouga - Fes

Wake up early in the morning so as not to miss the sunrise, Afterwards, return to the Luxury Desert Camp for breakfast and start the new day of our 7-Days Morocco Sahara Tour from Casablanca towards Fez via Rissani, the Ziz valley and the Ziz gorges.

Lunch will be served in the Middle Atlas Mountains before crossing the magnificent cedar forests and the towns of Azrou and Ifran. The latter is nicknamed “Little Switzerland” and is one of the cleanest cities in the world.

Day 6 Explore Fez

Explore Fez

After breakfast, a Half-day Local guide tour of Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities. You’ll visit the medieval medina with its madrasas, as well as the Nejjarine fountain and the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. We explore the Karaouine mosque and Fès Jdid (New Fès), then return to our hotel.

Day 7 Fes - Casablanca

On our last 7-Day Casablanca Sahara Desert Tour, we will starts at 8 o’clock from Fes drive across the Saiss Plain to the wonderful Roman ruins at Volubilis , the Volubilis of really ancient olive presses, mansions, incredible mosaics, monumental arches and Corinthian columns where you’ll have a real sense of Roman lifestyle and of that of a subsequent medieval Berber town.

We leave Volubilis behind to drive alongside the dark, outlaying ridges of the Zerhoun Hills to stop for a visit of the town of Moulay Idriss , the holiest Islamic town in the kingdom of Morocco, where thousands of Moroccan faithful come on pilgrimage (moussem) every August to pray at the tomb of this descendant of the Prophet Mohammed. Arriving at the elongated square we see above us the green-tiled pyramids of the Zaouia with its two conical quarters on either side and stroll amidst the labyrinth of alleyways before leaving for the Imperial City rebuilt by Moulay Ismail.

On, now, to the Imperial City of Meknes (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Here we shall visit the easily most beautiful Bab, or gateway, in all of the Maghreb – the Bab Mansour. From here to the El Heri es-Souani – the granary of huge vaulted structures and stables built by Moulay Ismail’s soldiers next to a pool fed by underground channels that brought fresh water all the way from the distant Middle Atlas Mountains; the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and the Place el-Hedim to see the famous State-owned stallion stables of Haras where these Arabo-Berber horses are bred. Time for lunch (optional, not included) before leaving Meknes around 2:40 in the afternoon, drive to Casablanca.
