      We extend a warm welcome to Ecuador, and we couldnโ€™t be more excited to have you here! 

      Upon arrival at the Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO), your hotel shuttle bus driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.


      We sincerely hope that your first day in Ecuador is filled with wonder and discovery, and we eagerly anticipate sharing many more unforgettable adventures with you as you delve deeper into the treasures this captivating country has to offer.

  • Day 2 Otavalo Market - Cuicocha Lagoon

      Otavalo Market - Cuicocha Lagoon

      In the morning you start visiting the market of Otavalo. Otavalo features one of the most important traditional markets in South America. Here, the indigenous people of the surrounding areas gather to trade anything from animals over handicrafts to fresh vegetables and fruits. Take a stroll through the streets and maybe try some of the local street food such as salted mango or fritada con mote, and fried pork with cooked corn. 


      In the afternoon you will hike around the crater lagoon of Cuicocha. On the trail, your guide will explain to you the high-altitude flora and fauna and the history of the once-active volcano.

  • Day 3 Welcome To Beautiful Hacienda Zuleta!
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Welcome To Beautiful Hacienda Zuleta!

      You will arrive early in the afternoon after a drive through lush pasture lands. With some luck, you will have stunning views of the snowcapped volcano, Cayambe, which is just a few miles away from Zuleta.


      Once settled, one of the family owners or managers will personally tell you about the activities the hacienda offers and find out about your personal preferences, needs, or questions over a hot cup of tea or coffee.


      After a quick briefing on your next activities, we will show you around the main building. You will learn more about Zuletaโ€™s history, see ex-President Galo Plaza Lassoโ€™s private library, and the chapel, and wander through its beautiful gardens.


      As the sun sets, it gets chilly at Zuleta, so enjoy some wine with farm-made cheese in front of the fireplace while reading from a vast library prior to dinner.

  • Day 4 Cotopaxi National Park
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Cotopaxi National Park

      After breakfast, you will leave Quito and head South to Cotopaxi National Park. You will visit Lake Limpiopungo, located in the highlands of the park. Here, you will have a spectacular view of Cotopaxi Volcanoโ€™s gigantic cone. 


      Lake Limpiopungo offers a variety of birds, and occasionally even wild horses. A short walk around the lake will allow you to admire the Andean plant and animal life along the way. If time permits and the altitude doesnโ€™t affect you, hike to the refuge Jose Ribas at 4800 m and enjoy the spectacular view.


      In the afternoon, you will arrive at a traditional Hacienda near the National Park where you will spend the night.

  • Day 5 Baรฑos - Pailรณn Del Diablo - Riobamba Hacienda

      Baรฑos - Pailรณn Del Diablo - Riobamba Hacienda

      After breakfast, you will continue your journey to Baรฑos, and visit Pailon del Diablo, passing a number of waterfalls, you will reach the village of Rio Verde, where you will stop to visit the well-known El Pailon del Diablo (The Devilโ€™s Cauldron) waterfall.


      After visiting the famous "Casa del Arbol" (in English: treehouse), we will drive south towards Riobamba for our overnight stay.

  • Day 6 Cacao & Milk Hacienda La Danesa Guayaquil

      Your next stop today is the beautiful hacienda La Danesa, an Hacienda in Naranjito. The Hacienda surounders claims the tropical of the ecuadorian coast.  โ€œDeep greenโ€ with discrete luxury, a subtle traditional aesthetic, privacy, and graciousness, Hacienda La Danesa models hospitality with enduring expressions of land.


      More than warmth and welcome, Hacienda La Danesa is built upon the possibility of a meaningful exchange between the traveler and the host.
