Day 1 Casablanca

After lunch, you will take a tour of Casablanca with your driver who will explain the history and importance of the economic capital of Morocco.

Located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, Casablanca is the business center of Morocco. Originally established by the French as a trading center, this vibrant city features a combination of modern, art deco and traditional architecture. Visit some of the city’s most renowned landmarks, including the oceanfront Corniche and the magnificent Hassan Mosque II.

Day 2 Casablanca Rabat Chefchaouen

Casablanca Rabat Chefchaouen

After breakfast, you will begin a sightseeing tour of the capital. You will visit the Hassan Tower, a 12th century mosque that collapsed during the Lisbon earthquake. You will have the opportunity to visit the ornate mausoleum of Mohamed V and Hassan II. The building is considered a

masterpiece of modern architecture of the Alaouite dynasty, with its white silhouette, topped with a typical green tiled roof.

You will also reach the ancient Kasbah des Oudayyas on the banks of the Bou Regreg river. This fortification was built as a military defense in the 12th century by the Almohad dynasty. The guided tour will travel back to the earliest ages visiting the Roman ruins of Chellah, a necropolis located on the outskirts of Rabat.

Day 3 Hefchaouen - Fez

Departure from Chefchaouen, the city with blue walls, for Fez, the spiritual capital.

Your local guide will welcome you upon your arrival in Fez to show you the city. Fez is the oldest of Morocco’s imperial cities and is divided into three parts which you will visit: the original old city, Fes el-Bali; Fes el-Jedid, built in the 13th century; and the contemporary Ville district

New. The old town or medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the largest car-free urban area in the world and is recognized as one of the best preserved historic cities in the Arab-Muslim world. It is made up of many narrow, labyrinthine streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices and many Moroccan handicrafts.

Madrasa Al-Attarine, the school of perfumers.

Royal Palace Dar El Makhzen

The Chaouwara tannery, the oldest and largest of the traditional tanneries in the leather souk of Fez, dating from the Middle Ages.

Ain Nokbi, the potters’ district, to see how Fez’s unique pottery and tiles are made.

Day 4 Fez Azrou Ifrane Merzouga

Today we will leave Fez towards the Sahara Desert. We will cross part of the Middle Atlas passing through the city of Ifrane, also called the Switzerland of Africa due to the combination of its western Alpine architecture and cedar forests. We will stop to see the Barbary monkeys that inhabit the Azrou region; you can feed them and take photos if you wish.

We will continue south to the town of Midelt, a large apple-producing region. From there, we continue our route to the palm grove of the Ziz valley and, further south, to the Merzouga desert.

Day 5 Merzouga Gorge Todra Ouarzazate Bomalen Dades

Merzouga Gorge Todra Ouarzazate Bomalen Dades

Enjoy breakfast at the camp before starting our adventure trip. We will visit the surrounding Berber villages and get closer to Berber culture. We go to Rissani, former capital of the Alawite sultans, then we drive towards the Todra gorges. The alluring beauty of the lush palm groves along the valley is known for its breathtaking views. Driving the winding and narrow road will have our full attention as we enter the gorge, allowing you to fully appreciate the incredible glory of the massive canyon walls.

We will continue to the Dades valley. Night in a Riad.

Day 6 Ouarzazate- Ait Benhaddou- Marrakech

After breakfast, we continue to visit one of the jewels of Morocco, Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch, we travel to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains. We will reach the highest point of the Tichka pass, which offers an impressive landscape in the heart of the Atlas range. Arrival in Marrakech.
