Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before continuing your Morocco tour to the enchanting Merzouga Desert, leaving the Dades Gorge behind as you journey south. En route, you’ll encounter the unique "Monkey Fingers" rock formation, a dramatic mountain shaped by natural forces. The road also offers stunning views of verdant oases, famous for producing dates, figs, peaches, and almonds. You’ll stop for lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant, savoring local flavors. In the early afternoon, you’ll pass by an ancient irrigation system that once played a crucial role in water distribution, as well as fossil houses that have stood for over 200 million years. Upon reaching Merzouga, your camel caravan will be ready to lead you to the top of the dunes, where you’ll witness a breathtaking sunset. The day will end with a memorable evening under the stars, complete with dinner, a campfire, and traditional Moroccan music in the heart of the desert.

Your route will follow the Draa River, the longest river in Morocco, which is crucial for desert life and the nomadic tribes of the south. As you drive, you’ll be surrounded by palm trees until you reach Agdz, a historic crossroads and former caravan stop on the route to Timbuktu.
