After breakfast, your Morocco tour continues as you depart from the Dades Gorge and head south towards the breathtaking Merzouga Desert. On the way, you’ll pass by the fascinating "Monkey Fingers" rock formation, a striking mountain shaped by nature. You’ll also be treated to views of lush oases, known for their abundant dates, figs, peaches, and almonds. A traditional restaurant will be your lunch stop, offering an authentic taste of Morocco. In the early afternoon, you’ll pass by an ancient irrigation system that once distributed water across the region, along with fossil houses that date back over 200 million years. As you arrive in Merzouga, your camel caravan will be waiting to take you on a journey to the top of the dunes, where you’ll experience a magical sunset. Your desert adventure will culminate with a night under the stars, featuring dinner by the campfire and traditional music.

After enjoying the sunrise, you’ll have a traditional Berber breakfast. Your driver will then pick you up from your camp and begin the journey back, moving slowly through small villages that offer fascinating panoramic views. The route will take you alongside the Draa River, the longest river and a vital lifeline for desert life and nomadic tribes in the south. The road is lined with palm trees all the way to Agdz, once a crossroads and rest stop for caravans traveling to Timbuktu. After a brief break, you’ll gradually ascend the High Atlas Mountains, passing through Ouarzazate before arriving back at your accommodation by evening.
