Accommodation

12 nights lodging (2 hotel nights, 2 yurt nights, 8 cabin nights). You might have to share in some of the accommodations with your fellow travelers as the places we choose are small Alaskan owned cabins and chalets, but this will give you the true wilderness experience you always have been looking for! Detailed description: Anchorage and Fairbanks: You will be staying in a 3-star hotel in Anchorage and Fairbanks. If you are traveling solo, we will pair you with a fellow traveler (same sex). In Seward we will stay in a secluded cabin/Inn right in the woods close to Bear Creek. 2-share room, each with a private bath and one or two beds in each room. A continental breakfast is provided by the Creek Inn. There is a shared living room with a fireplace. Enjoy the outdoor hot tub and wood-fired sauna on beautiful Bear Creek, or a picnic in the gazebo with a gas-fired grill. Moos Pass: 4-5 travelers will share a yurt: full service guided tour into Alaskaโ€™s backcountry, which includes kayak transportation, a frontier style BBQ dinner, overnight yurt accommodation and breakfast in the morning! Whether you are well seasoned in the outdoors or never kayaked or stayed in a yurt before, this 2-night tour is one of the best ways to feel truly immersed in what Alaska has to offer. Talkeetna: All rooms have private bathrooms with showers. 2-4 travelers will share one room. We will be able to use all the outdoor amenities which include badminton, bicycles, a fire ring in the front yard and an indoor fire pit in the backyard. The Guest House offers lodging on a quiet street, close to downtown Talkeetna. Denali: 2-share rooms with washing area inside cabins, outhouses and communal wood fired sauna with a hot shower. No generator noise, as the lights are solar powered. The living room offers a fine view of Mts. Denali, Foraker, Hunter and the other massifs in the Alaska Range. The sitting area is centered around an enormous wood stove to toast your toes on cooler nights. +++To get to this exceptional destination you will have to hike 2 miles on potentially wet terrain and carry your own gear for two nights. +++ The third night we will be staying at cabins close to the park entrance sleeping 2-4 travelers. Maclaren: 2-share cabins with private bathroom. Maclaren Lodge is situated on the original travel route into what is now called Denali Park, the Denali Highway is often overlooked by todayโ€™s travelers. On Day 1 staying at Maclaren Lodge we will venture out to remote camp by jet boat and sleep in walk-in tents with cots sleeping 2 travelers. Sleeping bags will be provided by Infinite Adventures. This is your true wilderness adventure - experience the sound of wind and the river, no cell phone reception, no vehicles - just nature! On day 2 we will stay at the lodge.
