In The Channels And On An Island Of The Okavango Delta

In the early morning around 07:30h we pick you at your hotel or lodge in Maun. 45mins to 1h outside of Maun in a small local village in the Okavango Delta in NG32 concession, you meet a guide/poler who will take you on an unforgettable journey through the channels of the Okavango. Born and raised in the Okavango Delta, our polers and guides show you their home which they are very passionate and knowledgeable about. We support the local community in the Okavango Delta. All our polers come from the village Community Trust and are allocated on a rotation basis. The experienced polers take you on a ride into the wetlands of the Okavango Delta. Gently float downstream and observe the local wildlife. Stop at one of the islands for lunch and go on a guided nature walk to see more animals. Feel the peace and tranquility of the Okavango surrounded by hippos and serenaded by the abundant bird life, before heading back to Maun where you will arrive in the afternoon around 15:30h with plenty of pictures and unforgettable memories.
