City tour with visit to Wat Visoun, the oldest still actively used temple in Luang Prabang, there is also a collection of gilded wooden Buddha statues from the 15th and 16th centuries. Continue to Wat Xien Thong, probably the most beautiful monastery in Luang Prabang as well as the National Museum (Royal Palace). The former Royal Palace became the National Museum in 1975, there you will find some rooms preserved as they were last used by the royal family (closed on Tuesdays). Afterwards you will see Wat Mai.

From Luang Prabang you will later go to Kuang Si Waterfalls, whose sinter terraces form a perfect natural scenery. Enjoy swimming in the clear water or even just resting. Afterwards, head to the "Khmu" village of Ban Tha Pene before returning to Luang Prabang. In the evening you will visit the Talat Night Market (Hmong Market). In the morning visit of the local market, which is very busy already in the early morning hours. Afterwards, boat trip on the Mekong River downstream to the steep limestone cliffs that rise above the Mekong and over the Nam Ou River. Your destination is the Pak Ou Caves, uniquely populated with Buddha images of every kind.
Continuing your journey, you will stop at Ban Xang Hai village, famous for its Lao Lao (rice whisky). Afterwards, you will visit Ban Muang Keo with its silk weaving and rice liquor distillery, as well as the weaving village of Ban Xang Khong. Here you can watch the production of traditional hand-woven cotton and silk as well as the production of mulberry paper.
Back in Luang Prabang you will climb the 100m high temple mountain Phou Si in the middle of the city and visit the small temple complex on its top. From up here you will have a magnificent view over the city and the river.

Afterwards you will visit the most important literary temple of Vietnam as well as the legendary Chua Mot Cot, also called the "One Pillar Pagoda". You will take a drive around the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake and visit the so-called "Jade Mountain Temple", the Ngoc Son Temple. In the morning, you will meet the chef of Red Bridge Restaurant for a personally guided shopping tour in the market. Here you will experience Hoi An firsthand, getting glimpses into the bustling life, foreign sounds and scents of the city and its markets. You will trade with the merchants and buy fresh ingredients for your lunch. After shopping, a boat will take you to the Red Bridge Cooking School on the Hoi An River. There you will learn and learn a lot about Vietnamese herbs, spices, ingredients as well as the art of decoration. The chef will show you how to prepare some of the most delicious Vietnamese dishes. Excursion to the hills of Ba Na with a visit to the Golden Bridge
This morning, your guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the hills of Ba Na, about 25 kilometers from Da Nang. The region served as an aerial health resort for the former French colonial rulers, but quickly fell into oblivion after the occupation forces left. Only the construction of an amusement park awakened the region from its slumber, which can only be reached by a cable car that climbs almost 1500 meters above sea level. At the top you will visit Le Jardin Garden D’Amour, Luna Castle , Sun Palace and of course the famous Golden Bridge. The 150 meter long pedestrian bridge, supported on two giant hands, offers a picturesque view of the tropical rainforest of the Ba Na Hills.
From the Ba Na Hills, you will take a direct route to Da Nang Airport for your onward flight to Saigon.
