CITY HALL AND THE ROYAL WARSHIP VASA (3hrs)(65 EUR) We will visit the interior of Stockholm City Hall. We will have the chance to visit the rooms where the plenary sessions are held, including the room where they hold the banquet and the ballroom dance after the Nobel prize ceremony. Afterwards, we will visit one of the warships which were retrieved after being 333 years dwelling at the sea bottom and which reminds us of the power the Swedish Empire once had. - Bus service. - Admission to the City Hall and the Royal Warship Vasa. - Local guide.. 10 number of people required.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Frankfurt, Cruise On The River Rhine, Cologne, Dortmund

      Today, weโ€™ll explore the Rhine and Moselle Valleys, two rivers full of history and dotted with charming villages. Weยดll begin with a short cruise on the Rhine, between the villages of Rรผdesheim and Sankt Goar, undoubtedly the most picturesque section of the river. Next, weโ€™ll head to the Moselle River, stopping for lunch in Cochem, a picturesque village on the Rhine riverbank overlooked by its imposing castle, which dates back over a thousand years. Afterward, weโ€™ll travel to Cologne, where youยดll have time to visit its impressive Gothic cathedral. Standing at 154 meters tall, it was the tallest building in the world until the late 19th century. You can also enjoy a walk along the Rhine River and through the lively city center before we continue to our hotel in Dortmund.Note: During fairs or congresses, accommodation may be in a nearby city.

      Today, weโ€™ll embark on a magical journey, reminiscing about our favorite childhood stories and movies as we travel through the towns that inspired the Brothers Grimm, now known as the Fairy Tale Route. Our first stop will be Trendelburg, a picturesque walled village where weโ€™ll visit the large medieval castle and the famous Rapunzel Tower (admission included).Weโ€™ll continue along scenic roads, crossing forests that will remind us of the tale of Hansel and Gretel. Our next stop will be Hรถxter, a vibrant town where weโ€™ll enjoy lunch and visit Corvey Abbey, an ancient 9th-century monastery and World Heritage Site (admission included). Weโ€™ll then make a brief stop in Polle to photograph the exterior ruins of Cinderellaโ€™s Castle. Our journey will continue to Hamelin, renowned for the tale of โ€œThe Pied Piper of Hamelinโ€. After following the mouse tracks, weโ€™ll proceed to Hanover, where weโ€™ll have time to explore the city center and take a stroll next to the old town hall.Note: During fairs or conferences, accommodation may be arranged in a nearby city.

      After breakfast, weโ€™ll head to Hamburg, where weโ€™ll see its lively port surrounding the lake. Following lunch, weโ€™ll travel to Flensburg, a charming seaside village with a marina on the border with Denmark. Our journey will then continue along the Jutland peninsula until we reach Aarhus, Denmarkโ€™s second-largest city.

      Weโ€™ll travel to Hirtshals and take a ferry across the North Sea to Norway, embarking on a three-hour voyage to Kristiansand. From there, weโ€™ll continue along Norwayโ€™s stunning southern coastline. Our next stop will be the charming little town of Flekkefjord. Weโ€™ll then arrive in Stavanger, a picturesque town with a bustling port by the fjord.Note: The ferry schedule may vary depending on the month, but you will normally have time for lunch on the boat.

      Upon leaving the city, weโ€™ll stop at the Swords in Rock monument, a tribute to the Viking era, before continuing our scenic route through tunnels, bridges, and some segments by boat along the fjord coast of Norway. One of these undersea tunnels is the deepest in the world. The two boat trips will make this part of the journey both relaxing and spectacular. Weโ€™ll arrive in Bergen at lunchtime and take a cable car up Mount Flรธyen for amazing views of the town and the Bergen fjord. Afterwards, youโ€™ll have leisure time to explore the capital city of fjords.

      Today, weโ€™ll experience more breathtaking landscapes, including Norwayโ€™s fjords, glaciers, lakes, and forests. Our journey will take us to Sognefjord, the largest fjord in Norway. Along the way, weโ€™ll stop at the stunning Tvindefossen Waterfall. Then, weโ€™ll embark on a magnificent cruise between Gudvangen and Aurland, enjoying the stunning scenery during this hour-and-a-half voyage. Continuing our adventure, weโ€™ll traverse magnificent snow-covered landscapes and pass through the Aurland Tunnel, the longest in the world. Weโ€™ll visit the exterior of Borgundโ€™s 12th-century wooden church, known as Norwayโ€™s best-preserved medieval church. Finally, weโ€™ll arrive in Oslo with free time to explore the port, main streets, and the artwork in Frogner Park.

      We include a panoramic tour of the Norwegian capital with a local guide. This city blends vibrant modern architecture with classical buildings, stunning scenery, and large parks with sculptures. Oslo has been named the European Green Capital. After the tour, youยดll have free time to explore on your own.Next, weโ€™ll depart for Sweden, passing through landscapes of forests and lakes. Our next stop is ร–rebro, a historic town by a beautiful lake, with a castle and a charming old town. Enjoy some time for a stroll before we continue to Stockholm, arriving in the evening.

      Today weโ€™ll embark on a panoramic tour of this beautiful capital city, built on 14 interconnected islands. Weโ€™ll visit Gamla Stan, also known as the โ€œthe city between bridgesโ€, the lively old quarter filled with monumental buildings such as the Nobel Prize Museum, located right beside the main square of Stortorget which honors Nobel Prize winners, the Cathedral, and the Royal Palace. Whenever possible, weโ€™ll enjoy the stunning views from the Fjรคllgatan viewpoint. Afterwards, youโ€™ll have leisure time to explore. We recommend visiting the museums and parks. Optionally, you can visit the City Hall and the Vasa Museum.

      Leaving Stockholm, weโ€™ll head south. After spending some time in the vibrant coastal town of Helsingborg, weโ€™ll take a ferry from Sweden to Helsingor in Denmark in the early afternoon. Youโ€™ll get to enjoy some time in Helsingor, Hamletโ€™s hometown, where the impressive Kronborg Castle stands out, before we continue our journey to Copenhagen, arriving in the evening.Note: During holidays or conferences, we may stay in Malmรถ, a Swedish city located 25 km from Copenhagen and connected by a stunning suspension bridge.

      In the morning, weโ€™ll enjoy a panoramic city tour with a local guide of the Danish capital, known for its exceptional quality of life, commitment to sustainability and rich cultural life.
