Accommodation
Night 1 and 2
For nights one and two, accommodations will be available at Panari Hotel in Nairobi.

Night 3 and 4
You will be staying at the lovely Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge for nights three and four.

Night 5 and 6
For the fifth and sixth night of your safari, have some well-earned rest at Boma Hotel.

Night 7
Accommodations for night seven will be at Lumo Blues Guest House.

Night 8
Night eight will be spent at Ngeta Mura Cultural Homestay.

Night 9 and 10
For nights nine and 10, you will be staying at Ashnil Mara Camp where you will prepare for your departure the next day.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be met and greeted at the airport by our representatives. They will help you with your luggage and settle you in your transfer vehicles. Once you are all settled in your vehicles, you will be accompanied to be transferred to your hotel.

In the evening, depending on your flight time, you will have dinner at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. After dinner, you will be returned to the hotel for your overnight stay at Panari Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Nairobi city tour
In the morning after your breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver-guide and you will depart for a city tour in Nairobi. The tour will take you through rich history, culture, and art. A visit to the David Sheldrick Orphanage will get you close to elephant calves! At 11:00 a.m., you will enjoy viewing the feeding of the elephants.

David Sheldrick Conservation Foundation rehabilitates baby elephants and other wildlife in their home just outside Nairobi National Park. Lunch will be served at the Karen Blixen House or somewhere similar. It is a house with a spellbinding rich history of love. After lunch, proceed to the national museum, well-known for its exhibits and displays of the early man and tribal regalia.

Finally, you will visit the parliament buildings and the railway station and realize the evolution of the railway system in Kenya. In the late evening, drive back to Panari Hotel, sightseeing the city and its environment before arriving for your dinner and overnight stay (half board).

Day 3: Nairobi to Lake Magadi
In the morning, you will have an early breakfast. After breakfast, at 06:30 a.m., your driver-guide will be ready at the hotel's reception. With picnic lunch boxes, you will depart to drive to Lake Magadi. The lake is a natural wonder with a scientific-rich background. The visit to the lake will take you to Olorgesailie, a prehistoric site where you will get to learn the history of human evolution, stone tools, and site formation.

Enjoy your adventure on the lake and have a picnic lunch. You will depart Lake Magadi in the afternoon to drive to Lake Naivasha. In the late evening, you will check into Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge for your dinner and overnight stay (half board).

Day 4: Lake Naivasha and Hell's Gate National Park
After your breakfast in the morning, at around 10:00 a.m., enjoy a one-hour boat ride on the lake and return to the camp for lunch. After lunch, relax for a few hours before your next adventure. At 04:00 p.m., drive to Hellโ€™s Gate National Park, which lies beside Lake Naivasha.

Enjoy a game drive or walk in the park and take in the beauty and wonder of nature found there. Return to the hotel in the evening for your dinner and overnight stay (half board).

Day 5: Lake Bogoria and Lake Baringo
After an early breakfast, you will depart with your bags and drive to Lake Bogoria. On Lake Bogoria, you will marvel at the hot water springs or geysers found there. In the hot springs, an egg or even corn can be boiled. Carry an egg to enjoy the experience and knowledge! The hot springs are best enjoyed in the morning hours before the heat becomes too much.

Visit the hot springs and marvel at the wonder. Later, enjoy a game walk or drive along the lake, sighting the birds and wild game found in the reserve. At mid-morning, depart Lake Bogoria and drive to Lake Baringo. You will arrive at Lake Baringo Club for lunch. In the afternoon, drive to the Lake Baringo National Reserve where you will enjoy sighting various species, especially birdlife.

In the late afternoon, depart Lake Baringo and drive to Eldoret Town, also in the Rift Valley, enjoying the scenic beauty along this road to check in at the Boma Hotel in the evening, where you will have dinner and your overnight stay on a half-board basis.

Day 6: Orphanage or community school and museum in Eldoret
You will visit a local community school and a community orphanage. That will put you in a perspective of the challenges society faces at large in Eldoret and help you visualize what policies or strategies can be put in place to enhance the lives of the society. After breakfast, you will visit Pattyโ€™s Heart Orphanage or community school.

The orphanage or community school takes care of abandoned children from a very tender age and orphaned children around the community. After you arrive in Eldoret, you will be met by the proprietor who will give you a short briefing on the orphanage and the children. Later on, the proprietor will introduce you to the children.

Spend the better of the morning there, keeping them busy with various activities of games, one-on-one discussions, bonding, and where necessary, expert advice on any given scenario. Lunch will be served at your hotel. Later, before departing, take time for a photo session with them, which shall remain in their memory and keep them encouraged!

In the afternoon, you will take a drive to the Kabarnet Museum. The museum features galleries of the Rift Valley people, their culture, its environment, indigenous knowledge, and science for education. It exhibits the cultures of general the โ€œKalenjinโ€ people, their history from pre-colonial, colonial, and post independence eras. Attractions there include paleontological, archeological, and ethnographic sites.

Enjoy the knowledge, and later in the evening, drive back to your hotel for your dinner and overnight stay at Boma Hotel on full-board basis.

Day 7: Kakamega Forest
After your early breakfast, depart for Eldoret Town and drive to Kakamega, with time allowing you to visit the picturesque Webuye Falls found along the route. Enter the reserve to take a nature walk on the unique trails with a naturalist, who will take you through the different tree types, their usage, and the rare butterfly species found there.

The community that lives around the forest has a rich culture for you to explore as well. The community is known for its vibrant dance the "isikutiโ€, which is performed during special ceremonies like weddings, circumcision, and so on. You will experience the dance while you are there and visit a traditional home where the culture of the community will be unveiled to you.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy a cultural visit in the community, it is the time for you allowing a visit to a local community school or orphanage. Lastly, you will visit the legendary "weeping stone.โ€ The stone is a natural wonder, a huge rock from which a constant stream of water cascades, hence its name.

The community associates it with various legends and myths. Later in the evening, you will check into the Lumo Blues House for your dinner and overnight stay on a half-board basis.

Day 8: Kakamega Forest to Lake Victoria
It will be a slow day to relax, specifically in readiness for the adventure in the wilderness. You will depart Kakamega after breakfast and drive leisurely to the lake side town of Kisumu, enjoying the views of Lake Victoria as you enter the town.

You will then have a short visit to the lake and depart to check into the Ngeta Mura Cultural Homestay which has great views. Relax the day away at the lodge with lunch and dinner served. It is also where you will stay for the night on a full-board basis.

Day 9: Lake Victoria to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Wake up to a very early start with breakfast. After breakfast, depart Kisumu and drive to the great Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will enjoy the drive to Maasai Mara, passing various Maasai traditional homes and villages, and enjoying the scenic beauty along the road to arrive at Ashnil Mara Camp in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive until sunset, returning to the camp in time for dinner. Have some well-earned rest at the camp on a full-board basis.

Day 10: Maasai Mara National Reserve
Spend the day in Maasai Mara National Reserve, enjoying morning and afternoon game drives. It is home to the famous Maasai people, well-known for their distinctive custom and clothing. In the early afternoon, you will visit a typical Maasai village and enjoy being part of the unique culture and habits that not even the western influence has been able to change.

Later, continue with your game drive until sunset, returning to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay on a full-board basis.

Day 11: Maasai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi
After an early morning game drive and breakfast at the camp, with your bags packed, you will bid Maasai Mara โ€œkwaheriโ€ meaning goodbye and full of lasting safari memories. You will then depart Maasai Mara and drive leisurely back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, time allowing you pass via the Maasai market to shop for souvenirs.

Lunch will be served at the Panari Hotel, and thereafter, depending on your flight timings, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight. There, the team will bid you goodbye and wish you a most blessed flight home.
